It has a firm band and the elastic feels very soft on the skin. The wires are very flexible and are the first ones that don’t hurt me. Cups are made from elastic lace without seams and has an extra layer of elastic mesh on the sides to push the breasts more to the front.

Center gore doesn't lay completely flat against my sternum, but it doesn't cause me any discomfort or affect the fit of the bra. Underwire extends past my breast tissue on the sides. It hasn't caused the wire to dig into my armpits, though, and the fabric cups don't wrinkle, so they're properly filled out. Has a J-hook to convert into a racerback and has side slings in the cups for added support. Absolutely no cleavage, which bothers me, but might be exactly what you're looking for. Gives a soft lifted and rounded look to your chest. Minimizing effects. Super comfortable. Bought on the Wacoal website.

I don't generally buy unlined bras because of the prominent nipple problem. However, this bra just might have swayed my opinion. I have a pretty projected shape and molded cups are often problematic because they squish my boobs down in unflattering ways. This one fits in all the right places-- the wire sits at the root and it gives nice lift and shape. Appearance only gets a "Good" just because of the aforementioned nipple issue, but this is only an issue with thin tees-- I'll have to find some pasties to deal with it!
Note: the band is initially tight-- it took a couple of weeks before it stopped chafing uncomfortably. I had to fasten it on the very last hooks/ use a band extender. But now that it's stretched, it's a perfect fit all around!
