It came to be as a surprise that I would fit in 28FF!
I have always worn 28F and occasionally 28E in very projected bras, but I have lost weight and remeasured as 28E.
I went to Bravissimo in London to look for a simple padded white bra to wear under white tops, and at first I was given 28E, but it was too small with obvious quad boobs so I was given 28FF. At first I thought I wasn't filling up the cup as there were empty space near the wire, but the fitter pulled the bra up and it instantly looked so much better! Turns out ... I had worn it too low when I tried it on.
I don't think this bra is the perfect shape for me as it has a few issues:
- although the volume is right for my breast size, the cups cut and gave some quad boobs because it is a bit closed on top, and I have top fullness. But going up another cup size would definitely be too big.
- The wires are definitely too wide for my narrow roots, but this happens with basically all UK bras I have tried, and it doesn't create many problems.
- The cups are too far apart for my super close set breasts that the gore sits on the inside of my breasts a little, but that can be fixed with an overlapping gore alteration that I have been doing with all my UK bras.
It has a few great points though:
- It is a true plunge with a very low gore so it's great for my super close set and centre full breasts.
- The band is snug.
- Simple padded design to wear under white tops as it conceals nipples too.
- The rose gold materials look really good on the white bra!
Overall I am pleased with this bra, since my boobs are so weird that only Polish bras can fit perfectly. The fitter was very helpful too. One thing I don't understand is why I have enough boob to fill out this bra when the measurements show that I have dropped in size.
