    Didn't fit

Oooooh gosh. Where do I begin with this one?

I wanted to try out a moulded non padded bra and to be quite honest it fits as what I about expected it to fit like, at least at this price. However, I might be misjudging the fit because the band on this is very very loose. I think ideally I would have needed a 28 band in this, it's that stretchy and loose. My snug is around 75cm and this thing stretched to 90cm!

That being said, the real issue with this bra for me is in the cups. It has the little supportive mesh side panel inside the cups ... and normally these don't really disfigure my breasts despite how soft they are but this thing? I think side view photos speak for themselves. Surprisingly, it doesn't look that bad under a loose shirt, but I think anything form fitting and it would look hilarious with this bra.
I don't plan on returning it, so maybe I'll just cut out the side panels from the inside? Not sure. The cups definitely have enough depth for me, but the panels obviously don't. Lol.

That being said, imho Gossard always made beautiful bras and this one is no exception. It's beautiful soft lace and the colour is something to talk about. The wires are flexible but also on the wider side, and surprisingly the gore tacks (I usually have an issue with Gossard gores - all of them float).

Overall, maybe I picked the wrong bra to test this out on? Maybe a Chantelle or Prima Donna or Empreinte or Maison Lejaby would have worked way way better? I kinda didn't wanna cash out for those though, because I have no idea how their sizing works and the one Chantelle I ever wore was ages ago. But I digress.

The top of the cups is very oddly flattening and it doesn’t look like it’s lifting you at all. To me your under shirt shot seems wider in this bra than the Comexim.

Oh it definitely has no lift past the 'oh your boobs are a little higher than your belly'. Nothing even near a well fitting constructed cup! I think the moulded cup might not be for me? I need the structure and it's just not there eh?

I was under the impression molded cups didn't fit very many people.

      Now I know :(

    • I have one in 30g for sale in case if you want to try band size down :P
Overall looks good on you and gives nice round shape! I'd probably try with cutting out the side panels to see if that would fix the cup fit

    • Lol much as I'd like I think I'll pass, a 30G would even be worse with the side panels and I don't think this bra fitting like this is a size issue anyway. Just not meant for me... Honestly the more I look at the photos the worse it looks to me haha

    • Weelll if you'd come across 30f or 30ff let me know! id definietly give a try. Looks really light and sexy :D

    • It looks weird from the side, agreed. You could try Fantasie Lois. It’s got the side sling but it’s better than this. Prettier too, imo. Sorry that this one didn’t work.

    • Are the straps already let out to maximum length? Sometimes people get that in-cup vertical indent due to excess tension on the straps. But if they don't extend any longer, there is very little you can do about that, unfortunately!

    • Calluna Fantasie bras do not agree with my tall roots, I've learned the expensive way.

wendybien Yup they are completely let out! I think I'm gonna take this L and move on lol

That looks sooo gooooood on you. Like Wow. You look drop dead gorgeous in this bra. And honestly I am not seeing the issue that you are seeing on the side. The only difference I am seeing is that band is not supporting you at all. I think taking it is in would make all the difference.
But each non-padded molded cup bra is not made the same! All those french brands cost that much because they are that much better. Honestly I have never seen someone not love an Empriente bra.

yes LeProfessor That's what I'm thinking about the make. France is rly close to me and I've been planning a Paris trip anyway, for some reason I would rather try those bras on before buying!

    • You may want to start looking for shops now that actually carry those sizes. From what I have heard it is REALLY hard to find bras in a 32 band let alone over a D cup. Which I kinda don't understand given that their a so many amazing french bands that create bra for the larger busted. Maison LeJaby Elixir is even offering a 28/75 band these days. But in France, apparently 34-38 A-D is whatcha got and I swear 34B is their most sold size.
Herroom.com offers free returns, but I can't blame you for wanting to try them on first. I keep staring at them longingly on the computer but can't seem to make the leap. Though I dropped 105 USD for a Simon Perele bra that my niece wanted after she tried it on because it just was so amazing. She is my niece and I can't tell you how many birthdays/christmas's I have missed and I'm like the only women left in her life. So the price killed me, but it was worth it for her first real fitting bra.
Good luck and I can't wait to hear about your trip if you get to get around to it!

    • Hm, odd, I had no idea that was the case!
