SF Gladzioch Mleczna Czekolada (translates to Milky Chocolate) is a smooth no lace SF style bra in a medium golden brown. As with all the SFs, the upper section is stretchy allowing for variation in size. In this size (60L) the cup construction consists of 3 lower sections with two vertical seams, an upper horizontal stretch tulle section above the horizontal seam, and the Ewa signature outer wedge that connects the straps to the cups securely. The SF style is not padded, but the bottom of the cup is stiffened for more support.
I ordered this one (and two others) from MagdaBras4you whom I ... just adore.
Now for the technicals:
All measurements are taken prior to trying the bra on to insure no figure is obscured by the body. I also take all flat measurements before taking the stretched cup then band measurements for the same reason.
The band measures 22.5” and stretches to a max of 27”. It has 3 hooks and 4 rows of eye loops.
Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
This measurement is: 12.75”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
This measurement is: 15.75”
I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
Other details to be noted:
For those of you who are observant of photo details, yes, the wires are not the same size. One is 6.25, while the other is closer to 6.5”.
Another thing with this order is that all the straps are thin. Not thin as in narrow, but thin as depth, flimsy, lacking plushness, biting instead of padded or plush backed for comfort. To describe it in one word: cheap. Straps you’d get on the Walmart $9.99 bras, not what you’d expect on a $60+ bra.
As for fit, this one is the only good one in the order. The material is so smooth and comfortable; it felt like I was putting on a pillow if that makes any sense. The cups are wonderful, as is the band. The gore sits 1.5 fingers off my sternum but aside from that this bra is the most comfortable wired bra I have. The band is nice a firm and the 27” max stretch makes it perfect on the middle hooks for me! (Woohoo I don’t have to wear it on the tightest hook set yay!) As with the other two, this does have a bit of “off”ness to it. The black liner and the silky outer fabric are not the same tension, most notably where two seams meet throughout, so the outer material isn’t as smooth as the bra actually is, but this isn’t major and can’t be seen under clothing, it’s simply a minor quality control issue. This is not the first time I have received a SF style bra with this issue so I think it has to do with the stiffening process that they use on that under fabric.
Overall, I do love this bra. I love the fit, the comfort, and the color.
