I ordered this lace bralette during my hunt for a comfortable wirefree bra that either has separate band and cup sizing, or uses S/M/L sizing but accommodates small band large cup sizing. I had heard good things about the Cosabella Curvy line of bralettes, but the one I was looking at (the Cosabella Sweetie) didn’t have a clasp. I came across two others, the Trenta Bralette and the Dolce Bralette, that did have clasps, so I ordered them.
Cosabella bralettes are S/M/L, but they have two sizes below S: Petite and X-Small. In the Curvy line of Cosabella bralettes, a Petite accommodates sizes from 28DD-30F in US sizing. ... That’s a little smaller than my usual size, but within the bracket of potentially fitting me, so I ordered a Petite in each style. The next size up, X-Small, is intended for sizes 30DD-32F in US sizing, so I worried the band would be too big, especially given that bralettes are typically less supportive than full bras.
This is really the main mistake I made here: the Trenta and P - Cosabella » Dolce Soft Bra (DOLCE1301) that I ordered were not part of the Curvy line. When they came they did seem to have a lot less fabric than I was expecting, but I thought maybe they were just very low-coverage. Upon trying them on, I realized the issue. The typical Cosabella bralette sizing for a standard bralette is very different than that of a Curvy bralette. The Petite I ordered was intended to accommodate sizes 28A-30C.
