This is my first foray into swimsuits with cup measurements; all of my previous bikini tops were measured in S/M/L (shudder). It's also my first 28 band bra since losing enough weight to measure 28" around my torso.
Another reviewer said that the print is a bit garish, but frankly, that's why I bought this bikini top. I wanted an underwired bikini top that didn't look like a bra. The loud print completely masks the underwire, so it just looks like I'm wearing a "regular" swimsuit top. And along those lines, the print is so much brighter than the official pictures depict.
I would definitely describe ... my breasts as shallow but with a wide base. This bra almost works for my breasts, but not perfectly. The cups are just a bit too narrow for me (but are probably wider than the average bra). They're also just a tiny bit too far apart. I would prefer the gore to just be a cm or so closer.
The seams on the cup are...odd. It cuts into my breasts at the top (quad boob, but that happens very easily with my shallow breasts), more or less fills the bottom, but wrinkles in the middle. Even when I try to "fill out" the cup with my hands, the cup is a weird shape. It's as if they thought the apex of the breast (the nipple) was on the inside curve of the breast. My nipples are a good inch outside of the vertical seam, which I'm sure is what's causing the wrinkling in the middle of the cup.
As another reviewer mentioned, there's definitely no padding/oomph to this swimsuit. They called it minimizing, but I'd more call it honest: as my breasts are pretty darn tiny to begin with, they don't give any illusions about my size.
Overall, it's not the greatest fit for me, but it's a heck of a lot better than all of my previous swimsuits. I'll be proud to wear it to the pool.
