Gervaise commented on suggestion by Gervaise for Braologie "doesn't fit" check

Strange they didn't mention to you there is a different, firmer version of the Lacie... I think your boobs are indeed much too heavy for this bra. But the cups are indeed also too wide for your shape. Not sure how the other version will turn out... I have a pretty wide root. So maybe it works for me. But at the same time my boobs are extremely close-set. So close I can mostly only bare plunges. This was also one of the reasons I was curious about their bras. A combination of a plunge and a longline with boning in the cups sounded ideal for me.

Gervaise commented on suggestion by greenpianokeys for Too big? Wires too wide? Should I try a 28F/28FF/30E?
-
Agreed. The cups look more too small and the band is on the big side. I also have the feeling the wires are too narrow for your shape. I think you need shallower, wider cups.

This looks depressing. But is this the 'standard' Lacie or the Lacie with extra side boning? I originally ordered the 'normal' Lacie in a 30JJ (after reading Vee's wonderful insightful review) through the website, because I didn't know there was another Lacie. But after looking at some pics I sent her, Tallia discouraged this, because she thought my boobs were too heavy for this particular style. She advised me the Lacie with extra sideboning which costs 27 dollars more. I am now waiting for its arrival.

I don't want add any confusion to all these helpful comments. But my underbust measurement is around 28.5 inches medium tight and around 27 inches super tight. But the PL Toffik I tried on in 65JJ was rather loose and stretchy. Actually too loose to give me decent support. So I exchanged it for a 60K which is so tight I hardly can close it - and I only can wear it with an extender. I guess a 26 band in Panache would feel this way if it would exist;) So Ewa's band sizing isn't always that predictable unfortunately.

I think their cups are rather open. although I must admit I haven't tried one in a size that really fitted me. There is one thing I forgot to mention earlier though. I own one in 32H, but it fits more like a 28J. No idea if this is wrongly labeled or that Debenham bands indeed run that tight. I have no experience with ordering from Debenham myself yet, I must admit. I live in the Netherlands, so I guess I am just as dependant from online shopping and shops like Bravissimo yourself;)

Okay, not nice from my side. But it's quite disrespectful to make jokes about a person's spelling whose first language isn't English. Especially from someone who doesn't make any effort in writing understandable sentences in her own language. And I don't think you will succeed to get t_maia banned since she's one of Bradatabase's most highly-regarded fitting advisers.
By the way: I am sorry to say this, but I don't see any reasons to be jealous of you...;)

Gervaise commented on Dec 12, 2012 - EM bra found for sale, is it a fit?? by petalmoon

Yes, I saw the pics. I wanted to react on your fit request. But saw you already closed it. However I only wanted to add it looks marvellous on you, but a cup size up probably would be even a greater fit, since your center gore is floating and you have some side boob. So I am more or less repeating what everyone else already stated;)
However your pics solidated my decision to buy another PL style, but then like you a cup size up from what I am wearing now (60K in PL Toffik). I think I will go for the PL Bella, which only costs 79 zlt (around 20 euros) and so lovely. Drool;)

I have this problem too. I can't stand any center gores higher than around 8 cm's. Higher ones make me black and blue with holes in my bigger boob. My sister saw my boobs after I've been wearing my very cherished Panache Jasmine for not more than an hour, and it frightened her how I looked. She made me promise her to never wear anything but plunges and softcups from now on. I came to the sad conclusion I am not only extremely close-set, but also suffering from a light form of symmastia. This means I have tissue between my boobs. So it's useless to take in the gore or bend the wires. They will always sit on breast tissue, no matter what I try. So yes, from now on, only plunges for me.
Have you tried something from Ewa Michalak PL's style yet? They make exquisite plunges that are not only very supportive (for a plunge), but also lift your boobs like you've never seen before. And they are so comfortable you can easily use them as everyday bra. Although like you, I have a big root that wishes Ewa's wires were a bit wider. But okay, I can live with this. Debenham's Gorgeous padded mesh styles also could be something for you. Their wires are a bit wider than Ewa Michalak.I bought one from another poster here on Bradatabase. And although the cups are about two sizes too small, I think the wires are more suitable for my shape. Debenham even has some on sale now (thanks for the tip, t_maia). They go to an H cup, so it's in your range (not in mine, so I'd have sister size and take in the band). In case you're interested, you can find them here: http://int.debenhams.com/fr/search/1500105591/

RG, they run pretty small, I guess. Both in cup and in band. My average size is around 30 J/JJ, but in the Royce sports bra I need a 32K. The Charlotte bra runs around a bandsize and cup size bigger than the sports bra, and is just ideal for lounging and sleeping. I also own this one in 32K. But don't expect too much from the look under clothes. The sports bra pushes everything flat and to the sides, while the Charlotte bra gives a kind of boring, droopy east-west look;)
I still have to add them both here. I will do so tomorrow or so:)

O wow, this S style looks amazing on you. And it doesn't show that you wear it low ;) I ordered the S Porselanka in 70JJ. After seeing these pics of yours I can't wait to receive it. How is the center gore? It doesn't look much higher than a PL gore... I ask this, because I know - like me - you are also a bit symmastic ;)
