85% nylon, 15% spandex. That's not that different from most other bras, right? I mean, the tag does make sure to point out that it's Tactel® Nylon and Lycra® Spandex, but we all know that brand names don't usually mean anything. I look at the rest of the tag: the band is made from nylon, rayon, and spandex, and the cup linings are also nylon and spandex. None of this seems out of the ordinary to me. So how on earth does this bra feel so amazing?
When the fitter put it on me, she said "this bra feels like butter". Not quite, but very very close. After a ... few minutes it's harder to remember, but every time I put it on I'm surprised by how soft and how smooth this bra feels against my skin, not to mention how cute it is. A pretty blue with cyan and blue lace on the straps, and a tiny gold medallion on the gore, this bra makes me feel like a mermaid. The matching boyshorts feel amazing as well, made of those same nylon and spandex brands, with lace at the top and around the leg holes - the lace is mildly uncomfortable, but beautiful.
As to the fit of the bra, it's not the slightest bit uncomfortable. It is in my sister size of 32D, but I'm wearing it on the loosest hook and everything is staying where it ought to be. When I slouch, the cups come forward the tiniest bit right above the gore, but the top stays mostly in place, and I shouldn't be slouching anyway!
This bra hides nicely under all my t-shirts, but doesn't do too much for maximizing cleavage - it's lightly padded all over the cup. A good everyday bra that's also something sexy. I probably wouldn't get another one, though, unless it was cheaper - at $70 it was in the middle of the price range of the bras the fitter brought me. It's a wonderful bra, though, and I look forward to some quality time with it.
