Wow. So many thoughts. It's complicated, and being trans makes it even more complicated.

Bras. I ... love 'em. I hate 'em. They have so much potential for good but are too often just heartbreakers.

I hate shopping for 'em. I really can do without the additional stress of feeling like a second class citizen because I'm overweight and trans. But maybe I'm just projecting.

I hate the really stupid way bras are sized. And a simple size is not *nearly* enough information. The bratabase here goes a long way towards enlightenment, but there's still not enough data on individual bras, nor enough bras with accurate measurements, at least in my dimensions.

I have enough body issues already. I sure don't need more as a result of an industry that, at best, gives us grossly misleading or incorrect information, and at worst, outright lies to us about our bodies and how they're "supposed" to look.

For me, Bratabase has been a good, positive experience. The people here seem very kind and compassionate, as well as very knowledgeable.
