If you want a nursing bra that is like all the bras you were wearing before you had a baby, EM is where you go.
I'm nursing my fifth baby and I have finally found the holy grail for nursing bras. Excellent projection, everything is within the normal frame/silhouette, supported and not sagging at the bottom of the cup. What more could a girl want? Top it off with a pretty appearance, and seriously, where has this bra been all my life?
The recommendation to order a size up in the band might be based on personal preference. I ordered a size up and actually received the wrong size - ... 70 instead of 75 - but the 70 fits just fine. Yes, it's a firm band and these wires are hard, but the fit is good. I can still breathe. (I didn't realize that I had received the wrong size till I went to upload this bra, actually.)
As far as fit goes in the cups (I suppose I should talk about that?) - I am very full on bottom, and as such, a balconette cup has to be just the right height for it to fit *perfect*. When I am due for a feeding, this is smooth against the top; when I've just nursing, I've got some gaping. Such is the nature of nursing bras. The gaping is not so extreme that it changes the appearance in my clothes. I did order a cup up as was recommended on the Levana website.
For the cost, this takes the cake. I own a Freya nursing bra, which is okay (I've reviewed that too) --- it does enough of the job, but it costs just about the same as this bra... only, this one does what I'd expect a $70 bra to do, and that one falls far short.
It's worth every penny.
I've tried nursing bras from Elomi, Freya, Panache, Le Mystere, Cake.
This goes above and beyond.
