This account is for my 16-year-old teenager (I'm the Mom, if you want to see my account, my ... user ID is ColorFan). Getting bras that fit her has been a challenge but very rewarding. Living in the U.S.A. there is nowhere for her to actually try on bras in her size. She is currently a 30E so ordering off of the internet has been our only option.

She is loving her new, well fitting bras. As her Mom, I'm no longer cringing at seeing her in a poor fitting bra that's cutting into her on the sides while at the same time dumping her out of the front. She used to wear a 32B, which was the largest cup/smallest band size we could find in stores here. The smallest band available in the teen section is a 30 and it only came in an A cup.

She is very projected, wide set, somewhat splayed, with even fullness and short roots, but not necessarily narrow. We've had great success so far with Cleo unlined bras.

Whoever said that bra companies think small bands are only for teenagers hasn't actually tried to shop for one. U.S. Bra companies still only offer a pitiful 30-34 band "A" cup range as being suitable for tweens and younger teens, when the reality is that most of these girls need 22-30 back bands with A-G cups. So frustrating. My younger girl (14-years-old) is a 26DD and we've only had luck with the Cleo bra Jude 28D and the Tatiana T-shirt bra in 28D from Boux Avenue.
