Issue resolved
Thanks for all the suggestions. I am going to exchange the 30GG for a 30G and see how it fits. If it doesn't, I will try and order a custom EM strapless.
Original problem
I've ordered my first strapless bra, hoping that I might be able to wear it under tanktops and dresses in the summer. However, I have a couple of problems with it and would appreciate some help
I had to guess at the size - I have a 28G Freya Deco and could use a 28GG. Since the regular Deco runs large in the cup, I decided to order a 30GG strapless Deco and take the band in if necessary.
At first the fit seemed just great - absolutely no quadraboob, band and cups stayed in place (on the third hook), no gaping, etc. It was a little open at the sides, but not too much, a bit like on this Brastop model (http://brastop.com/SetDetails2.aspx?setId=3713)
After wearing it for a while, though, the cup started wrinkling on the bottom - a LOT. I took a picture of it, here: http://media.bratabase.com/cache/1d/82/1d82991f2cb47e5aae8b79be18eab3a3.jpg
I also realized that it made my boobs look much bigger beneath simple tops - if you look at the purple top above and compare it with a picture of it worn with a 28G Freya Deco, the difference is quite significant:
http://media.bratabase.com/cache/19/3d/193dfd250359f8342c2815f408b61bcd.jpgSo I am at a loss. I am petite and try to make my boobs look smaller whenever possible. I feel very uncomfortable in this particular bra. I'm also a bit worried about the wrinkling cup - it looks as if my breast is simply too heavy for the cup to hold it in place for longer than an hour or so.
Do you think the issue could somehow be solved by getting a 30G? Although the 30GG seems to fit really well, it just looks really big.
Could you recommend me a different model that would look smaller in the outcome but would still fit me? (I'm thinking Panache Evie, Ewa Michalak Czarny Kropek... no idea about EM sizing, though).
Thanks in advance!

helpfulDid you already take in the band? Or is it still a 30 band?
Assuming this is still a 30 band: taking in the band might help as far as keeping it from sliding down (which would fix the problem with the bottom of the cup), but the cup does seem a little wide for you. A 30G would be better, but, again, you would want to take in the band. I wish they made a 28GG in the strapless version.

Ah, okay. If you want to go the Deco route, try a 30G and take in the band. (If the 28G isn't too small in the cup, that might also make sense.)

I'm afraid that a 28G would be too small :( Curses!

helpfulIt does look to me like it might be a little big in the cups. The problem might be that the center gore is too wide-set for you, and that the underwires are quite wide. Going down a cup size might help.
But I suspect that the problem might be that the band is a bit too big. You might want to consider looking for a strapless in a 28 band rather than a 30. With the average bra, the band takes 90% of the weight of your breasts; with a strapless, it takes 100%, so a smaller band might prevent it from moving around and gapping in the cups.
My experience with Panache is that they tend to run small in the cups, but I haven't tried the Evie so I can't help you with that. I've heard great things about the Ewa Michalak Czarny Kropek, and have been told that the band is true to size but the cups run small.

Thanks so much! The problem with 28-inch strapless bands is that they almost never run up to a HH, which would be my ordinary cupsize. If Panache runs small in the cups, then that's a blind alley too...
On the other hand, if I alter a band, I can't return the bra anyway, so I might just go ahead and order a custom Ewa Michalak... hm... so that would make a 28HH or a 28J EM bra?

Don't forget, EM bras are significantly tighter in the band than Freya bras.
Although, if you need a 28 band in the Deco strapless (which is notoriously tight) chances are that you'll be ok with a 28 band Ewa bra.
The Panache Evie runs relatively loose in the band for a strapless.

Thanks!

Nope, I don't want to take in the band until I'm 100% sure that it will fit. So this is still a 30-inch band.
Thanks! I'll probably exchange it :) Hopefully it will help!
