Bra fitting help » strange shape because of cups too small ?
Made By Niki » Stretch Satin And Lace Multiway Plunge Bra (FFPB036) » 30DD 30:5
Issue resolved
I am not going to keep this bra (because there is no other size in the online stores and because plunge bras may be not the best for my breasts shape).
So, the fit issue for this bra is resolved.
My interogations on what bra can work with me are still here, but luckily bratabase's girls gave me good advice, and now, I am less confused !
Original problem
I want to ask you if the strange shape this bra gives me is due to the bra's construction, even if the cups were a size bigger ?

helpfulThe cups definitely look too small, but I think the shape of the cup might be prone to distortion... and this bra might just run small. Have you tried any other 30DD bras?

helpfulIt's a pretty bra, but not constructed very well. The shape of it is similar to the Panache Cleo Jude, where the cups dip much lower than the bottom of the band and the center gore is this itty bitty thing that offers no support. Because of that you rely on the cups to support you instead. What happens with this particular cup shape is that the cups tilt in and down in the center. Since the band is tight on you, it's pulling the cup shape even more so in this direction. The small gore is not helping this either. You'll notice when this happens there tends to be a lot of space in the bottom of the cup which forces your breast tissue up since there's no room for it to go. Some call this "orange in a glass", but there are exceptions to this rule, and a plunge bra that tilts when it shouldn't is one of them.
The band on this is too small. But if it's brand new and you're still breaking it in, that's understandable. A telltale sign the band is too small is if the straps in back are closer to your underarm, sometimes you'll see them as having a more U shape that's bowed out rather than the straps being parallel to each other. This means the band is doing a whole lot of work and is stretched too much, especially where most of the stretch is in a band (at the side wings and back). And if a bra has straps set further apart it's just going to exaggerate this. But if you feel the band fits and it's just a matter of going up a cup size, you can put the bra on backwards and upside down, closing it in the front. If you still need it with an extender then the problem lies in the band, not the cups. If it's loose trying it on this way, then you need to go up a cup size.
You have the measurements of a 30DD, possibly a 28E. I would recommend those sizes, but in a different brand. Try a style that has a larger gore, or one that is a full band (this one is only partial). And look into Demi or Half-Cup styles.

helpfulI think that the shape is completely wrong for you. You should look for halfcups, not plunges. You have what is known as shallow wideset breasts. On breasts like these plunge bras tend to give women quadboob despite the bra being the right size.
Also, the "do not add 4"-rule becomes a bit iffy in bandsizes below 32, especially with small breasts. Since your bra does not need to support several kilograms of breast tissue I would suggest experimenting with bandsizes. Depending upon the brand I think that a 32 band might be more comfortable to you. A halfcup in 32D should also be significantly easier to find.

Thank you !
Your advice help me.
I will looking for an half cup bra, in 32D, in stores. And if I found nothing that fit me, I will order a bra in 32 and 30 back, for seeing the difference.
Thank you !

hello !
I havn't try any other 30DD bras. There is no good lingerie boutique and advice where I live. I am new in the world of "internet and bras", so I only order online for the first time 3 weeks.
the next time, I will try to order a lot of size for seeing wich is the best for me (I am a bit lost in bras-sizes).
