Bra fitting help » What (European) size do I need?

Issue resolved
Re-ordered in a 55H
Original problem
I love this bra but it's far too small in the cup and causes serious quadraboob. I've had this bra for a while and never worn it, as it was too small when I bought it (when I was really a 28FF) and I am now a 28G. I have a plunge EM style which fits well in a 60G.
I want to order a tighter band in this one next time as well as a bigger cup, so I'm really stuck on size. The sizing chart on the website indicates that for every band size you go down, you must go up TWO cup sizes to get the same fit, but in the description underneath it says only one. Any ideas on which is correct would really help as my messages on the site are not being responded to. With potentially smaller differences between cup sizes compared to UK sizing in mind, how many cup sizes do I need to go up?

helpfulHei laura,
the CH Onyx runs smaller in the cup than the other EM bras.
So, if you wanted to choose the same bandsize, I guess you would need a 60GG (going up one cup size wouldn't be enough I guess) and then it would be a bit too big. Then going down to a 55H should be a good fit for you.
This seems reasonable if you say you're more a 28G in most styles now than a 28FF and a 60G in other EM bras.
That's just personal experience, mostly in the smaller bust section, but for friends and me this worked out well
maybe someone in your sizing range has great tips for you too.
Hope this was helpful!
(you didn't wear the padding in the pics, I guess?)

helpfulEwa Michalak uses European band sizes, but Brittish cup sizes.
The brittish cup sizes goes from a D:
DD, E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, J, JJ etc.In theory there are sister sizes. A 60FF, the bra you have should be the same in the cup as a 55G and a 50G, as well as a 65F, 70E, 75DD etc. However that isn't always true and more so, the cup style changes between these sister sizes, but as a rough rule this is what you should think of. When you go down a band size you need to go up a cup size to keep the actual volume of the cup. This applies no matter if you use the 2 cm increase as in the European system or the 2,54 cm increase as in the Brittish.
If the bra was too small back then when you were a cup size smaller I suspect you want to go up two or three cup sizes. That means a 60GG or a 60H. I wouldn't suggest going any higher than the 60GG as you where a plunge in a 60G.
If you want the 60GG in a smaller band size you go down to a 55-band and up a cup size to keep the volume, so a 55H.

Ooh I didn't know that! Does it run smaller even than other CH styles?
That seems like good advice, and along the lines of what I was thinking. With sizes under 65 being non-returnable I really wanted a second opinion to make sure my next order fits.
No, padding free, of course!
