Bra fitting help » How many cups up?

Issue resolved
I've ordered a new clutch of bras-- CK Angel (30E), Emily (30F, 30FF), and Tease Me (28F, 28FF). Between them, I'm pretty hopeful. Thanks, ladies!
Original problem
ETA: I've added more pictures, so you can see the overflow at the center and side better. My breast tissue ends about an inch further under my arm than the underwire currently does.
-----------
We're boobling, ladies, that's for certain, but I having a hard time quantifying it.
Though the trim on the cups makes it hard to see, I'm overflowing badly. My nipples are barely under the edge of the bra, and I'm getting shoved together (or perhaps falling together?) enough that there are actual wrinkles in my cleavage-- unprecedented for me.
How many cups up do you think I need to go? I keep waffling on what size to order next. 30DD? E? More?
Also, what style? I think this particular bra is a dead end for me-- the push-up padding is all sorts of the wrong shape. I was looking at the Curvy Kate Angel. Good plan?
(A note on the pictures: I was having a hard time finding an angle that showed the overflow well, and some of it deflated while I was wiggling about. What you can see in the images is a bit pessimistic.)

helpfulOrlana, I'm thinking you need to go up at least 2 cup sizes, 30E minimum. As you say, the photos are not showing the full extent of the problem, but the first photo is showing serious overflow which doesn't appear to me to be just a single cup undersize- also you're saying that the underwire is digging in at the side as well. As for the shape of this bra it probably doesn't suit you, am I correct in saying that this style doesn't go up beyond DD, in which case 30E is irrelevant?
I can't really advise regarding the CK Angel unfortunately. It would depend on what kind of shape you were wanting - if you're looking for a natural shape it might be OK as it's unpadded, but if you were looking for a little bit more upfront I would be tempted to go for one of CK's Showgirl Bras (Tease Me or Thrill Me), but beware - if you do down the Showgirl route you will almost certainly have to go down to 28, and as a result look at 28F or 28FF.
I note from your profile you still appear to be trying to find your starting point for bra fitting, and having started at 34A, you're maybe getting a little bit alarmed at trying DD, E or F - please don't be alarmed, women (and men) need to realise that DD, E and F cups are not particularly large - especially on small back sizes like yourself.
Hope this has been of some help.

The additional photos are showing the problem much more clearly. 30DD isn't going to do the job. Even 2 cup sizes up to 30E may not be enough, you may have to go up 3 cup sizes to 30F. If possible I would be trying both 30E and 30F to get a better idea. As you say, the E cup and up version may have a different shape, but chances are it will push up. In any case, as laura 144 says, an unpadded bra will give you a better idea of where to start, and the CK Angel, or Emily for that matter looks like a good place to start. The 'normal' CK bras, as opposed to the 'Showgirl' bras, do appear to have a fairly 'stiff' band rather than the stretchier bands of the 'Showgirl'. Once you've sussed out your starting point on an unpadded bra, then if you do at some point want to try out a padded bra to give an upfront shape or to allow you to wear a low cut top or dress then at least you know what size to start at. :)

helpfulI agree that this bra is at least two cup sizes too small. At a rough guess I would say you need a 30E or F, but it is hard to tell in a push-up bra. If you're still trying to work out your size it will be a lot easier in unpadded bras so you can really see where the problems are. If you're also not sure about the shape of your boobs (e.g. full on top/bottom) an unpadded bra will help you to see this. In short, you will get a very different shape from the push-up bras you are used to, but that doesn't mean cleavage is out. Once you've got your size sorted you will be able to find bras that give you the good kind of cleavage (i.e. not overflowing).
The Angel is a good everyday unpadded bra so it is worth a look. You might also consider the CK Emily as there are quite a few sizes of that bra listed on here which are close to what your real size probably is.Updated on April 6, 2012 Flag this
There's a different version of this bra for E and up. IIRC, the cup is shaped slightly differently and the back has 3 rows of hooks instead of 2. :) Vast Tracts of Land aren't terribly important to me; I got this one because it was on sale and I read 'padded' to mean foam lined, not push up. :D Mostly I just want bras that fit! The KC is appealing because I believe their bands are solid elastic, not two narrow, roll-producing strips of elastic at the edge of some wimpy stretch fabric.
I haven't had a problem with the "but my boobs are SMALL!" thing a lot of women go through... I know that a DD is a bit on the small side, and I'm also very aware that size numbers (or letters) are pretty worthless and fit is everything. :D I'm oddly shaped on the bottom, so it's a familiar issue. Thanks for the kind words, though. :D
(Trivia: Did you know that the ASDM standard body measures give about 6" difference between bust and underbust, across the board? :D Most pattern companies say they draft for a B cup... it's a +4 B.)
