Bra fitting help » Should I go down in the cup?

Issue resolved
I decided to keep this bra as it does look good under clothes and is comfortable. I planning on making a trip to intimacy this week to try out different sizes in the deco to see if that is a good fit. Thanks for all the help ladies.
Original problem
I know my breasts are two different sizes but with this bra it seems really noticeable (at least without a shirt on. The band seems to fit well but I have a big gap at the top of the left cup and a small one at the top of the right. I find myself tightening the straps too much to try and compensate the gap but then it leaves marks on my shoulders. I'm thinking about sizing down to a 30E but I'm afraid that might be too small. I'm still new to trying to find that perfect size so it could be just something I have to live with in this style of bra because of the shape of my breasts. Also thinking about maybe getting the freya deco in 28ff or 28f instead hoping it would provide better cleavage. Any input is greatly appreciated.

helpfulFrom looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like a smaller cup will help - I think maybe the cups are too far apart for your breast shape. The fact that the straps are also too far apart my be causing this gaping issue too as the "lift" is in the wrong place (not sure how to explain it, sorry!) - I think it's a case of wrong shape for your frame/bust rather than a sizing issue.
I think trying the deco instead might be a good option if you're looking for a t-shirt bra - some people need to size down in this bra because the cups can be quite roomy for some breast shapes. If you can, try both a 28F and 28FF to compare which feels best for you. The deco seems to suit bottom-heavy boobs in particular.Updated on May 27, 2012 Flag this

helpfulI agree - the Deco might be a better fit for you. I wouldn't size down in the cup in the style you're wearing now because you'll probably find it's a bit too small on your bigger breast.

helpfulI don't know if I would go down a cup size. My left boob is a little smaller than my right and I've noticed that a little wrinkling or gap in the smaller boob doesn't show nearly as much under lothing as stuffing my bigger boob into a too small cup.
However I would go down a band size and try a 28FF. It says your ribcage is 27.2". Mine is 28" and most 30 bands are too big even for me.

I don't think they make this bra in a 28 :( but they are supposed to run small in the bands.

helpfulThe style is definitely too far apart for your breasts.
In terms of size: fit for the larger breast. You can always wear a "cookie" in the cup with the smaller breast.

Oh I forgot to say that I do agree with the above comments that state the deco is wonderful for bottom full boobs.
