Bra fitting help » Freya Jolie cutting in on larger breast

Issue resolved
Thanks to Nesoa's tip about the Jolie being cut for breasts that are fuller on top than mine, I'll be sending this one back and giving the Faye another try, and continuing to pick up Tara-style bras when I can.
Original problem
After a scoop and swoop, I have to pull at the top line of the cup to stop it from cutting in noticeably on my larger boob. Lengthening my bra straps just means that it'll slip off that shoulder, and the 28H version I tried has wrinkling at the top of both cups. Is this bra's cut just not for me, or should I go with the larger size and try not to worry about the wrinkles?
Also, the center gore only just manages to lie flat at the top and the bottom-- the middle of the gore doesn't lie flat against my ribcage, and I'm concerned that that could make the bra shift around during the day even though it doesn't do so initially. The bra band is tight enough that I'm not eager to try to take in the center gore until it's stretched out a bit, and even then, there's the fact that I've never done alterations before, AND the fact that this bra is expensive enough that I don't want to take the chance.

helpfulFreya's unpadded balconettes are made for a shape with a lot of depth on top, and a lot of sudden depth. If you don't have that depth there or soft enough boobs so that they will get shaped into the shape of the bra you will get extra space in the top of the cup, which is why you probably get wrinkles in the top of the cup.
The Freya Jolie is a bit extreme at this in the larger-cup version so you might find other Freyas better. Look for the bras with the same cut as Tara, and bras with the same cut as Faye, both of these might be better on you. They also run a bit smaller in the cup, so if you happen to be inbetween sizes in Jolie a 28H might still be good for you in these.

Gem is supposed to have the same cut as the older Rio, so it's not like Faye or like Ada/Tara, so it might still be worth a try. Gem is also available in the plainer colours Freya usually refuses to make but we so desperatly need... :P
I'm already all over the Tara-style bras, actually :D. I wish they'd put them out in plainer colors that would go better with my lighter-colored shirts, but until I find a better fit, I'll probably be living in my Adas and scrounging up what I can on ebay and elsewhere.
I also recently tried the Faye in a 30GG and found that I quite liked the pattern and material even if the underwires felt a bit flimsy, and the gore was a bit too wide for me. I'll definitely try the 28H Faye to see if it sits better, at least as soon as I'm done with my current round of returns.
One question: do you know if the Freya Gem also has a similar cut to the Faye, or is that in it's own category? Herroom doesn't have most of the Faye-alikes in my size, but they always seem to have the Gem.
Thanks for the help on this! I'm glad to know it's just the bra's cut that doesn't work for me.
