Issue resolved
Just closing the fit request.
Original problem
Center gore does not lie flat, cups gape, cups don't feel supportive, and I was able to hook all the way in.
40J fits great, but it was suggested to me that I try a cup size up (a 40JJ) so another blogger sent me this PL Burgund in a 42J....which should just be bigger all around. The measurements to the PL Stalowka are almost identical (and that bra fits great), but this really isn't working for me...

It does look like a brasIhate fit - borderline too small, but hey, if that's the way you like it
Anyway, I can see why others with different prefereces might want you in a cup up But I say - just go with what feels best for you As for this bra, if you're keeping it, I do think it can be saved by tightening and maybe moving the strap position. How tight are the straps now? Can you try pinching the straps some more and does it make the gaping go away?

I do love the look of the "smaller" cups.
I am not keeping this bra because I don't think that I can fix the issues myself.
