Bra fitting help » Does it fit? And what other freya styles would fit better?
Freya » Nina Plunge Balcony Bra (4981) » 28FF 28:8
Issue resolved
Thanks for everyone's help.
Original problem
I think this bra fit - or at least fits well enough that I am keeping it and will wear it. I find it very difficult finding something that fits - as I seem to be full on the bottom and in the middle (i.e. where my breasts meet is full) but not full at the top. (hope this makes sense?) So bras are often not filled at the top where the straps and the cups meet, and yet I can't go down a size as they would then be too small and cutting where the two cups meet in the middle. This seems especially the case with Curvy Kate - i tend to need a 28G as I am falling out of the 28ff, but in the 28G the bras seem to be so high under my arms and at the top and not completely filled. This also seems to happen with Freya. I tell myself I should give up and not get Freya but I like there styles so keep trying them again! What Freya styles do you think could work? According to Bratabase this bra (nina) is the same as Lyla and others - however I tried Lyla earlier and didn't work http://bra.pe/SBQ6/ Also have tried other Freya styles such as Nancy http://bra.pe/SBWL/ and also Faye and various others and find they just come up too high. What styles are lower at the top? (Sorry this question is so long!) Thanks for any advise!

helpfulMy suggestion would be to try halfcups. Cleo Juna http://www.bratabase.com/browse/cleo/juna-6461/ would be a good start.
That the bra cuts in is plunge-related quadboob. You need bras that are more open at the top. Halfcups work well for that. They will also solve your volume-distribution problem.
If you like Freya's styles, Freya does have some padded halfcups. Sadly only in a 30 band, so feel free to write to Freya to request they make the halfcups in your size. You are most certainly not the only one to need those in a 28 band or smaller.
EDIT: Took a look at the other bras you had submitted. It seems that your breasts are really close together, so you need a mix of a plunge with an open rim and halfcup. The EM CH Toffik was really good on you, also the narrow centergore would works great for your shape. I think you need to order this bra again in another size and experiment some more with the CH and PL cuts.

I think we have a fairly similar breast shape, as I also frequently have the problem of not enough space in the bottom of the cup, and wrinkling in the top. This is especially the case with Freya and Curvy Kate unpadded bras like Faye and Portia. Cleo's Juna is a great bra for bottom-heavy breasts but it has a very loose band so it might be too loose for you. I would recommend the Deco for your shape (also loose in the band, but not as much as Juna in my experience). Another bra which fits really well is Bravissimo's "Bettie Mae" as it has a rather tight upper section and quite a lot of room in the bottom of the cup.

Freya will actually be releasing a half cup longline bra in 28-band this spring/summer collection: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/just-flew-in-padded-longline-bra/ Might be worth a try? :)
Otherwise I can only agree with what has been said before. :)

helpfulI have to agree with t_maia.....
Your breasts are really close together. So when searching for bras, look for center gores that are no more than 3/4 of an inch wide (including wires). EM bras and the Panache Andorra will probably work for you.

I agree whit everything stated :)
Just wanted to add - even though this slight quadboob in the middle doesn't look bad enough to justify going up a cup in this style it may very well be that you would need a g in freya as well. You might experience that the quadboob will get worse during the day while wearing this bra, your boobs will try to escape at the top. If this happens to you - you do need a cup up. And even if this doesn't happen after a day, it can still very well happen after a while due to probable migration.
But you do look lovely in this :)))
