Bra fitting help » Quadboobing in center of breasts, but unsure if going up would help!

Issue resolved
Returning both Jude's and going to try finding a bra with a better shape for me.
Original problem
I ordered the Jude in 30E and 30DD from HerRoom and tried them both on. The quadboob is less severe for the 30E, as is the armpit bulging that I assume is more breast that doesn't fit in the cup from the top. The cup does form a smooth line around the upper inside part of my breasts, though, and that's the spot where I usually have the most trouble with gaping.
I've heard that the Jude is a difficult bra and is just not for many women - am I one of them, or is the next size up worth a shot?

helpfulJude is a bra made in hell. Very shallow and with a rim that cuts in on almost every woman that I have ever seen in this bra.
I think if you go up in cupsize the rim will still cut in on you and the cup will gap in your usual, upper inside spot.
IMO you do much better with halfcups like the Parfait Charlotte.
If you want something with a lower centergore, try Freya Padded Halfcups from the Summer family.

I actually prefer posting on bratabase, bc here it can still be read ages later. It just that many on reddit don't bother coming here and I got sick of all the shitty advice that got posted there.

helpfulI have a similar issue. So I can't really help, but I'll be following this.
It's like the cups should be more open towards the center, at least that's what my issue is, though I think it can also be an issue with soft tissue or cups that are too far apart, or the straps pulling at a wrong angle.Have you tried wearing it like a racer back? If you have a clip.
That's always what makes bras work for me if I go for cleavage, but it gives me bad neck pain and shoulder pain, so I'd prefer a different solutions.
But your breasts are smaller than mine, maybe you can make it work?
Or maybe a cup size up and a racer back clip?
I'm not really suggesting any permanent solution, but maybe you could try it out.Edit: also, how is the band? Should it be tighter?

Actually, yeah. I thought the band was pretty good, but since you asked I tried it on again and the band isn't so great on the loosest hook - it's much better on the middle hook. Did you have that problem, too?

You can try on the bra with the cups sitting on your back. This way you can more easily feel if the band is right. I also have a problem with band sizes. 30 is too small for me and 32 I can often wear on the middle hook after a few wears. And I measure almost 33 inch. But I'm really squishy.
If its possible, I think you should try a smaller back size and a few cups bigger. Maybe a 28FF/G? And I think you should try the racer back solution. At least to check out how it changes the fit. It could guide you towards what kind of cup shape you need.

Maia! You commented on my thing! I was thinking about posting this to Reddit just to get your opinion!
Yeah, I'm going to return it. I really believe you about the hell of the Jude now.
