Bra fitting help » Panache Ariza - how much too small?
Panache » Ariza Balconnet Bra (5051) » 32J 32:13
Issue resolved
I tried a 32JJ and it was too big / 32J is slightly too small. Also the different colors do fit differently. Maybe I'll try another Ariza someday but it's not top priority.
Original problem
Now I did not like this bra very much in the past and did not expect much.
It’s obviously too small. There is serious quadraboob. The band also feels a bit too tight. I could fasten it but have to wear it with an extender first.
I still not like those thin shoulder straps. Although due to the very thight and firm band the bra felt really supportive, the shoulder straps still cut in uncomfortably.Does this style suit my shape at all ? I’m not sure.
If I give it a shot again, what size should I try? 32JJ or 32K?
Should I size up in band size even and try a 34J?

helpfulOn the smaller breast it is one cupsize too small, on the larger two. Hmm. 32K maybe?
As for bandsize, could you try inserting an extender? To see how a 34 band fits and whether a looser band frees up some volume in the cups?

I just tried it on again and did follow BumbleBeans suggestion and loosened the straps all the way. I'll add pictures of that. The band does like 95% of the support I might even wear this bra strapless.
So I fear in the 34 I might loose that extreme I think I'll stick with 32 band and wear it with an extender at first.

helpfulI completely agree -- the band on this bra is CRAZY tight for some reason! I wore mine with an extender for about a week, and after that the band has been fine.
I also agree that the straps are not comfy at all. On mine, I've found that loosening them nearly all the way helps. The band is so tight and secure (which is actually nice), so I don't find that I really need much support from the straps at all. I also was having a bit of quadboob the more I wore it, and having looser straps seemed to help with that (except this bra is a no-no for PMS time, I've learned!)
Other than your fit issues, I agree with Vee -- it looks pretty good on you! How do you like the shape? I love how this bra looks on its own, but I'm just not in love with how it looks under clothing. I've wondered how it would be for someone else.

I just tried it on again and did loosen the straps all the way. It's still supportive and much more comfy. (as comfy as a bra with a band that tight can get) But the quadraboob is still there but not that bad anymore.
I could almost wear it as a strapless bra:D
I forgot to mention that I'm on PMS now. This means I get quadraboob in most of my bras (besides Jasmine). The shape is ok for me althought I like more the shape of the Jasmine. I'll add some pictures in clothes from the side. It looks really kind of weird. I have to try a bigger size and see if it gets better then.

The problem with this bra is that the cup is too tight about halfway between the rim of the cup and the seam where the upper cup attaches to the lower cup. If the bra curved out there instead of in it would be far more wearable and less pointy.

helpfulHi Alisa,
The bra is a 32J, I would stay at 32 but go for a JJ .The extra cup size will give more slack in the band. The style is pretty good so I would not look elsewhere before trying the next size. You say the straps are very tight. This is an issue, as nearly all the support should come from the band. If the band is tight enough but you still do not get the support then another style would be the way ahead.Updated on January 25, 2013 Flag this
On that note, I see the band is strained, but those straps look really painful!
But the shape is not half bad! I wonder how it will work in larger size.
