Bra fitting help » Will going up one cup size fix this?
Curvy Kate » Tempt Me Plunge Bra (SG4001) » 32E 32:6
Issue resolved
I will be returning this bra for one a couple cup sizes larger. If it doesn't work, I will try other brands/styles.
Original problem
This bra is obviously too small. I'm literally falling out of it and had to tuck my nipples away just so I could take the picture. There's pretty bad quad-boob going on and boob in my armpits (which I didn't take a picture of - sorry!) I was just wondering if going up one cup size would be enough here. Or do you think I need more?

helpfulI agree with Vlatka and JJ.
The bra is very shallow and wide, it is not for everybody. Go for another style: Freya Deco, Panache Zara, ... You got so many choices for plunges in your size.
I also think you will be more comfortable in a 34 band based upon your measurements and my experience. A too tight band can pull the cup flat, thus making the problem "too shallow cup" worse.
I took a look at your profile, you marked a Beautifull Paige and a Fantasie Ava as a good fit. Both brands have deep cups and narrow to medium wide wires. If you want to look for bras, concentrate on brands with similar features. Freya and Charnos and maybe Flirtelle should be good options.
I also think the bras from the Curvy Kate Showgirl collection are too shallow for you. If you want a bit more sexy, look at the Cleo Juna/Martha/Sadie cut and the Freya Padded Halfcups as well as Ewa Michalak. Especially Ewa Michalak.

helpfulIts not you, it's the bra. I have yet to see a person that is able to wear this one. Id say try the deco or some of the pl's ewa michalak or even bravissimos satine. Lula mae even. Leave this one be.
But if you have your heart set on the tempt me, id go up at least 2, possibly 3 cup sizes.Updated on September 17, 2012 Flag this

helpfulIt may not help. I am a 28H and I sized up, as recommended, in that bra to a 28J and my boobs still escape and there is still those obnoxious creases at the bottom. Many people seem to have this problem so I think it may just be a producer issue.

helpfulI am not sure even going up a cup size would give you the coverage you need. I might go up at least two cup sizes, maybe more. How does the band feel independent of the cups? I have a CK Tease Me that I got in 34F, which is my normal size if I so choose to have a too large band. It seems to fit pretty well.....I guess based on how it is supposed to fit, but I would prefer to have just a bit more room.

Yes, from what I've seen that bra is very shallow and somewhat wide. It is not a bra for everybody/everyboob
