Bra fitting help » Cleo Meg cone boobs, top gapping, gore not flat
Cleo » Meg Balconnet (6751) » 28G 28:9
Gore doesn't quite sit flat, cup gaps at the top when I bring my shoulders forward a little. Top sits funny and and a little flat. Gives me cone boob. Comfortable, but I think the wires could be narrower?

helpfulAs you can see, I am a fan of the Meg
You will get gaping at the top of bra's cup, because this bra is meant for someone with breasts that are more full on top. How does the bra look with a shirt?Updated on February 12, 2013 Flag this

helpfulWould you mind pulling the bra higher up and shortening the straps a bit? I am not familliar with your boobs yet and haven't seen them ina any other bra before, but seems to me that the bra is sitting lowish on the chest and that maybe because you haven't put the bra on properly. Please go through these links and report back

http://blog.butterflycollection.ca/2012/11/are-you-wearing-your-bra-too-low.html?m=1Now, those are the basics we all git wrong at some point.
If you did put on the bra properly, it might be that the bra isn't compatible with your breast shape - meg is best for full on top boobs that have some depth to them. I can't tell from this pics for sure if you are bottom heavy, but you do seam quite shallow, so you might be better of in halfcupsAnyway, I don't think the look is anywhere near conical, you should look up how girls ended up looking in bravissimo's dotty spot and fleur and the dreadfull jeunique bra

So after wearing it all day today I thought I'd see where the red marks on my chest were to see how low/high it was sitting. There are red marks on my boobs near where they meet (indicating the gore isn't sitting flat). And rather than there being marks too low on my chest, they were actually a little higher than the start of my boob at the bottom. I've tried and tried to pull it down a little so that it sits in the inframmary fold, but it obviously keeps moving :( I think I have bottom heavy breasts, but I don't -think- they're shallow (though I still don't completely understand what constitutes a shallow breast). I'm about to post photos of the Deco I have too if you'd like that for comparison :)

helpfulDepending on the natural shape of your boobs, you may benefit from trying a 28FF (I have had to down size in the cup for several Cleos myself).
You may also find this bra doesn't suit you whatever size you try. I have close set boobs and find some centre gores to sit in the wrong place which tries to push the wires out. I find higher positioned centre gores and lower centres like plunges to fit me better.
Cleo Lucy suits me very well but Marcie and Meg were a little too high to fit me properly.

helpfulMaybe the cups are a bit too small for you. If you wear the bra higher you will have a more obvious sign that the cups are too small since wearing the bra higher will concentrate more breast tissue in a smaller area. It will include that breast tissue on the top of your chest that the bra is not yet supporting, so you will see the cups getting filled maybe even overfilled.
Don't know if you can wear the bra higher though since it seems that this bra has long shoulder straps.
Wearing the bra higher means that the underwire is still under the breast fold, but you actually still can lift the breast somewhat since the root is able to shift because the root is not glued to the ribcage.
Hope that helps.
