Issue resolved
I might try adding a second strap on the front, as suggested.
Original problem
I wrote a review for this bra here:
http://bra.pe/SGi6/I love the bra, however, the problem I am having now is that the bra band slides down, but only in the front. I did my best to get pictures that show it. The red marks are where the bra has been sitting after a few hours of wear and I have readjusted the bra to where it should be. You can see the wire marks are 1-1/2 to 2 inches too low. It only happens in the front and the sides/back are not riding down at all.
To keep it from sliding down, I have to fasten the band even tighter than it was when it left these marks - so tight that it cuts in badly and within a few hours, I can barely stand to touch the band area, let alone continue to wear the bra.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this problem? One issue I think is that the bottom band elastic on this particular model is thinner than the Karmelki and perhaps other EM bras. I also think the mesh fabric of the band has too much stretch, as does the top elastic on the band. I think the entire weight of my breasts is being held up by a 1/2 inch band of elastic stretched to the tightest it can be stretched. I think if the entire band were supporting the weight of my breasts it wouldn't cut in and hurt like it does. However, the back part of the band isn't painful, only the part under the cups is cutting in and painful, so it seems it is really transferring all of the weight of my breasts on the bottom of the band in front, an area of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and the width of the front of my ribcage. That's a lot of weight for such a small surface area to bear.
The straps are tightened as short as they will go, but do feel sufficiently snug.
I have tried putting the bottom hook on the loosest column and the top 2 one tighter to try and get more support from the middle and top of the band. I am unsure if it really makes a difference and it makes the hook area in back all "off."
Love the cups in this bra. Finally a bra that doesn't have an empty area or wrinkle at the bottom of the cup, but it must be so tight that it's practically unwearable to make it stay in the crease with the weight of my breasts. I really, really wish I could get this bra to work for me because it's the closest I have come to a perfect bra by far.

helpfulI would say the main problem, if not the only, is the gaping at the top of the cups. I can't be sure if that's because the cup is slightly too large or because of your full on bottom breasts. For a PL it does see to go a bit high for the gore, but then again I have noticed that problem for many PL wearers who are large cupped. If you don't mind the gaping that's caused by something I can't put my finger on, then I say you wear this bra. But you might benefit from a different size or different style. I have a CHP and I noticed that the cups curve in slightly at the top and that might be something you could benefit from.

I understand the problem as I have it myself with my own soft tissued bottom heavy breasts. I got great results in the CH Biszkopty and CHP Fiolek, both 60JJ.

I have the exact same problem with the PL Lilia- but the gaping at the top isn't really visible under a shirt for me and it doesn't seem to affect the comfort or stability of the bra much. So if the same is true for you, I would call this a success and keep wearing it! :) But if you have trouble with them moving around during the day or it feels uncomfortable, I'd say try a different style.

helpfulGreat success! )
No really, I don't think I've ever seen such a good fit in Ewa first time arround!
Sure, it's a tad gapey, but not enought to justify a whole cupsize down ( that would make the gore lower and a bra less secure too), but I do think you'll be needing a bandsize and a cupsize down when you reach your goalweight.
But for now - congrats and enjoy!Updated on February 15, 2013 Flag this

Ewa bras are the strangest. I think I have about all fitting issues ever showed in Ewa bras. Here I recognize the little wrinkling going on near the straps and the gaping in the middle.
But this fit is as good as it gets with Ewa combined with your shape so I agree with Vee :)
If you want the gapping to be smaller maybe just add some extra pads in the bra :)

Oh I also have a question. Picture 4/6 showing the boobs inside the bra, how come the boobs are wider further back? Mine looks like this as well and I cannot figure out if it's migration or what it is that's going on. When a bra is put on it always looks bigger than what someone looking at the boobs would say is boobs? It's so confusing :)

helpfulI have a different problem in my PLs (not enough lift), and am going to add a second strap to them to add some more lift.
I'm thinking that lack of lift is letting the bra slide down, so maybe adding a strap (more lift) could help with your problem too. Here's a link to my adventure with try-out straps, I haven't gotten around to actually buying material for the straps yet but trying to do it all soon

Loved your adventure with the straps. That might help. I think I"ll get some safety pins and elastic and try it out. I'd love to see the finished product. I'll be looking for your update. Thanks!

Happy to help :) It's raining today so I'm not going to cycle the 5km to the shop today... should be better weather next week so hopefully then. And then the weekend after or with Easter I'll be visiting my parents and can probably do the alteration with my mom's help :)

I've been thinking about the half cups, but they don't come in my size. I was thinking I'd email and ask if they could make one or if there is a reason they don't work in larger cups. I think the gaping is due to my very soft bottom heavy breasts. If the cup doesn't have exactly the right volume, they either settle in the cup and gape slightly or have major quad boob.
