Issue resolved
Ok - so I took the bra back yesterday!! I think it fit well enough. It was comfortable and was right on the brink of being too small but not enough to bother me, and looked great under clothes EXCEPT for the silly lace detail at the top. Under clothes it made me look like i had an indent on my boob (slightly different to what quadboobing looks like). I have tried on the Freya Deco in the same size and have ordered in a black one which i will pick up in a couple of weeks. Thanks for all your help
Original problem
This bra feels like it fits! but wanted some opinions before I take the tags off as i think that a 28G would probably fit better (that is my usual size).
I have had augmentation so my breasts are really round and full on top. Quite wide and close set - this bra doesnt make them look that different from without a bra just a tad closer.
I will try and add more photos soon but i dont have quad-boob but i think i am may be on the verge of having some. also the centre gore probably sits about 1mm away from my sternum it really isnt noticeable unless you are looking very very closely.
Can i keep this bra as it is comfy or should I try and exchange for a 28G? Im worried the bigger cup size will be too big.
Also this bra sticks out a little under clothes as the lace trim sits away from the body. many of the reviews say this so i think it is normal. but will going up a cup size improve this?
Thanks

helpfulCould you please add some pictures from the side, showing the underwire? Some pictures of the bra under a thin white shirt would also help.
I think it is ok, a cup bigger might be too big. If the lace annoys you, look for the other Freya Deco sisters.

I know you said you had implants, but have you noticed whether your boobs get swollen before your period? If yes, what day of your cycle are you in? If you are just before your period, everything is fine, if not.. hmm. BTW, the different colours/makes of the Deco sisters always run a bit different, in some the 28G might be better, in others the 28FF.

I think i am probably about day 20. Before my implants i didnt notice much of a change throughout the cycle but i was wearing the wrong size bra anyway! i havent been back in underwires long enough post-surgery to determine what will happen wearing the correct size bra!
Luckily there is a boutique nearby which will order in a couple of sizes for me in some of their bras to try on so i think i will take them up on that - although think i will order online after to get them cheaper!
Because of the implants it is easy for me to see where the underwire site in relation to the breast tissue which is one of the things i checked when trying on the bra and it isnt sitting on any tissue :)under shirts i get a visible line where the lace detail along the cups shows through but other then that it all looks smooth - i will try and upload the pictures as soon as i get home today

I noticed you said you aren't that far post-op so I would reccomend probably going up a cup size. I also have augmented breasts and at 3 months post-op I was fine in a Deco 28FF but now 8 months out it is to small for me. That may be something else to consider.

helpful(1) Are you swooping and scooping while bending over so your torso is parallel to the floor? If not, check out http://brasandbodyimage.blogspot.com brilliant before-and-afters.
(2) I agree with t_maia that more pictures would be good. If the two photos above were taken before scooping, take more after scooping.
(3) The lace would annoy me no end, too. If you're having problems wearing this bra because of the lace, I second t_maia's suggestion to try their lace-free models.Updated on November 18, 2012 Flag this

helpfulMy 2 cents:
If it's comfortable, keep it. It's hard enough to find a comfortable bra. You can always sell it to another soul in need on Bratabase if you find one you like better
That said:
I tried the Taylor strapless when it first came out (too small on me, but.) The lace around the cups definitely was an issue under shirts. Do you feel like you own enough clothes that you can wear with it to justify your keeping it?
