Original problem
This is supposedbly like the Bettie Mae, which I also have: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/bravissimo/bettie-mae-au18/34J/?system=UK
But, this definitely doesn't fit: The bra is so flat at the bottom! In these pictures, I have adjusted to the best of my ability, really trying to force my boob down in the bottom, but as you can see, not much luck!
The Bettie Mae has a bit less space than ideal at the bottom, but the Satine is just crazy!
I'm really thinking, is this an error when it was made? Even when just looking at the cup, not wearing it, you can see it is very flat at the bottom - I took a picture, where you can see it folds strangly, and it can barely be smothed out with a hand.

helpfulI think you're right the cup is just too shallow at the base for you to fit in it properly. I get the same crease with my Tempt Me but only on my bigger side. I have zero experience with Bravissimo so I really don't know if it's a quirk with this particular model or whether it might be a one off manufacturing error.

Most of the bras I've tried is Bravissimo, but not many padded (not by choice, I love padding) - often looking at pictures of padded plunges, I really do think they look very flat in the cups, but I have these a shot, and glad I did, since the Bettie Mae was alright (still a little bit of orange-in-glass and overspill on the bigger breast)

helpfulI think the cup looks too small in general, because of some quadraboob and the "orange in a glass" problem with not being able to fill the bottom of the cups. However, it seems that the wires are wide enough for you (maybe even too wide?), so it's probably a problem with the shallowness, as others have already said. I have a similar problem with the tempt me as well.
I also noticed that it could be that the bra is made for more pointy boobs... strange shape, very shallow but very deep in the middle.
It seems to me like you may be able to go up a cupsize and still have it work. If you can, I would try that. But it may just not work out with your shape.
I wish you luck!

My problem with wires is that they need to be wide at the bottom, but most wires are widest at the top. For the bottom, I wouldn't want to go any narrower than this, but the top could easily comfortably be 1" or more narrower. But since it isn't so wide that it is bothering me, I think this wire width works,
I think most of the quadroboob is caused by the fact that I am not getting all of the volume of the bra - The Bettie Mae is only a teeny bit too small on my bigger breast.
Unfortunately, these don't come in bigger cup sizes than J :( Otherwise I probably would have gone for JJ, which seems more and more likely to be my 'standard size'.I agree, it seems boobs would have to be pointy for this to work - or soft all the way through, so they can mold to the cup.
My boobs have an annoying combo of firm and softness: Soft enough that they cause a lot of quadro-boob easily but a very firm middle, so they won't mold to just anything!

I didn't notice that you were at the top of the size range already, that sucks! If a JJ were made it would probably work out :(
I have a similar problem, so unpadded bras sometimes look funny on me because my boobs are too firm to mold into the deepest part of the cup, but soft (and full on top) enough to have quadraboob... Confusing and frustrating.
I know that there's one other satine/Bettie Mae cut, I think it's called kimono or something? But I wonder if that runs similar l the Bettie Mae, or more like the satine?

Too sad ;/
I didn't see this fit issue until this hour, I've been away for the weekend. But now I know it's definitely a bra I should try :)

I don't think it's an error from the satine reviews I've seen - It does look really shallow on all the girls I saw wearing it. You could give a cup up a try - I think it could be a better fit because this one is also too small from my perspective.
Im not sure that will fix the problem completely though (and it might even cause some new issues) - the betty mae wasn't a perfect fit either, this bra just seems better suited for a shape different than yours.
Some love affairs just aren't meant to be :/
