Issue resolved
Thanks ladies! I think I'm going to try going up a cup size..or two (suggestions???) and probably a plunge style bra this time.
Original problem
I've ordered two bras now and both have given me this issue: it hurts a lot where the strap and cup are sewn together. Is this simply anatomy or bra type or both?
Also, the straps on this bra are too big, but if I pull up the bra to where it should sit (beginning where my breast tissue terminates) the underwire pokes into my armpits, the top of the cup has extra fabric, AND I have spillage in the middle. Should I try a different style bra or am I just wearing the wrong size?

helpfulBased on the first photo, the cup looks too small. Have you tried a different style, maybe balconette?

I'm 5'7", so not short. Although my legs are pretty long, so I might be considered to have a short torso. On a guesstimate, should I go up one cup size or two?

helpfulThe cups are indeed too small. A bra should not hurt, so don't wear this. I usually have better results with full cup bras with flexible fabric. They are usually more comfortable too.

helpfulI agree. It's just too small. Your bigger side is bulging over dramatically on that side viewAlthough I can't see that the wires are too wide for you, I guess its altogether a wrong style for you. Maybe you should consider a PL style (plunge) from Ewa Michalak. They have narrower wires and their cups are much closer together.

Thank you, I'll definitely try that. Would you suggest going up one cup size or two? Maybe I'll try both..

Are you petite (short)? I have the problem of being poked by the wires and chafed by the cup/strap join sitting wrong. I'm still searching for the right bra to resolve this.
