Bra fitting help » Is the cup too small?

Issue resolved
Not the right shape for me.
Original problem
I feel a bit of quadboob happening when I first put this on, but then after about 5 minutes it's gone. Not sure if the cup is fitting around my armpit fat/boob? Is it boob or fat?
I measure 27 underbust, 33 bust bending over, but I'm clearly shallow.
Band is ok, fairly comfortable.
Actually I tried on this bra at a shop and the fitter thought I was between a 28D and a 28DD, but the gaping problem was still there in the 28DD. I did lose an inch in the underbust between then and now though.

helpfulI think it looks as if this bra is slightly to narrow for you. The wire seems to be poking into something at your arm that does look as if it should be in the cup. It doesn't look like it's much too small or much too narrow, just as if the Deco-shape might not be the best for you.
Deco itself is known for being tricky to fit on smaller busts, this is why the half cups came, because they seem to be working much better. The deep-narrow and open along the top tends to be work better for F+ cups... Yours look quite firm and I don't think they will "conform" to the shape.
I still think this probably is the best size you'll find in this bra but you'd might want to consider other options.
The Deco half cups comes in your size and might be better if you still want moulded: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/deco-moulded-half-cup-bra-4232/
The rest of the half cups from Freya starts at a 30-band but this spring they will be releasing a long-line that actually starts at a 28-band: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/just-flew-in-padded-longline-bra/ Don't know how it will work yet, but it might be worth keeping an eye out for if you like the print/colours.
For seamed I would suggest the new plunges from ewa Michalak, especially made for "smaller sizes", rather than the sizes PL, CH, HP and CHP usually works best for.

http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/3dm-melon-340/You also have Mimi Holliday: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/mimi-holliday/ which also seem to work better on the wider shallower shape so common in your size.
And Only Her:
http://www.bratabase.com/browse/only-her/Another Polish brand who started of selling Ewa Michalak bras, but then started to make their own bras for your size range has the regular EM bras didn't fit well enough according to their opinion. Not all their bras are available in 28-bands but some are and they are also supposed to be quite good.
Hope this helps some atleast.

Wow, thank you, that was so helpful. I'll definitely be looking into the bras and brands you've mentioned - especially Ewa Michalak and Only Her.
Thanks again :))
