Bra fitting help » What size should I get?
Cacique » Embroidered French Full Coverage Bra (129400) » 38DDD 38:6
Issue resolved
I'm wearing a G right now, and it fits much better.
Original problem
I like the fit of this bra.The band doesn't ride up or bruise, and if I go up a cup size, the top of the cup wrinkles. I want to order a curvy kate bra, and I want to get the size right because I don't live in the UK. The size chart says a US 38DDD is the same as a UK 38E. Then the customer service lady said to go up a cup size in curvy kate, so that would be a 38F. I want the Fleurty bra if that helps. I was also wanting the Rio ruffles or Caribbean curves bikini top, but that just seems to open up a whole new set of sizing problems. I'm just so confused about the sizes and would really appreciate the help.

helpfulIt'd be great if you added more and possibly less blurry photos If a webcam or cellphone is all you got, then just try to play a little with lighting to make sure you get the best possible photos It's really important to add a back view when you put it up on fit request because how the band fits is super important and we can't judge that in the photos you've got up right now.

helpfulAlso, it kind of looks like I'm spilling over in the side view, but that's because of the strange position I had to hold while taking a side view picture.

If I go up a cup size, the top of the cup wrinkles. Does that mean I'm between sizes?

Do you scoop all your breast tissue into the cup (take what's under your arm and pull it into the cup)? If not, try that.
If that doesn't help you might be either inbetween sizes in this model, or, it might just be a model that doesn't suit you.

Do you have any suggestions on what size I should get in Curvy Kate?

I sadly can't comment without any better pictures. :/

helpfulThe pics are very blurry so it is hard to really see how this fits you. But Cacique uses US sizing, not UK, and really does not compare.
If you are spilling over in this cup, it is too small. When you go up to the next cup size, are you fully gathering all your tissue into the cup? I pull the bra up right under my breasts, then lean forward and pull all of my breast tissue forward and toward the center. I even reach under my arms and tug gently on the flesh there just to be sure I get all the breast tissue forward. I suspect that will make the next size up fit you fine.

helpfulJust general advice:
1) Swoop and scoop. When you put your bra on, bend over and pull all of the tissue from the back/side area into your bra cups. If you've got double boob, you need to go up 1-2 cup sizes.
2) Curvy Kate runs about 1-2 cup sizes small, and the bands are quite stretchy. They are best suited for wide, shallow breasts.Do your wires tack in the center???? Check the fit of your bra with this guide:

But if you kind of spilling over in a strange angle and position like that it would still indicate that you are spilling over and need a slightly bigger cup...
