Issue resolved
After my boobs deflated the gape became bigger, and after I loosened the straps a bit to a more comfortable level I found this really to be a two cup issue.
Thanks guys.
Found a supercheap Cleo Chloe in 30H, so keep your fingers crossed.
Original problem
Boobs shrinking because of weightloss.
What you see here are my pms boobs in one of five wearable bras I currently own (2 jasmines in 30J, 28J alexa and one altered lucy in 32H).
I need cheap transition bras until my weight settles, so I'm looking into cleos outlet, lucy, melissa, bella and the likes.
My question is - what size do I take?As you can see, I have gapping on swollen boobs with straps as tight as they go.
Band is slightly riding upbut that may be because of the strap situation?
My underbust is also smaller now.
Wires too wide, but I learned to live with that. Some more numbers:
Bust in this bra 102cm
Bust nude 104cm
Bust leaning 107cm
Perimeter laying 31,5cm
Overbust 91cm
Underbust comfortably snug 72 cmSo, what bandsize and what cupsize do I take in Cleos?

helpfulI am not going to be much help as far as size (my best guess is around a 28HH/J). But what I will say is you have a lot of similar shape needs as what I have. You look like you have breast tissue that goes up high toward your collar bone, narrow base, projecting shape, and close cleavage line. I find in order to get a gore to sit flat in Cleo I have to upsize in the cups, which creates the problems you have now. The wires are much too wide, the depth is right, but even with full on top boobs I have that looseness in the top of the cup. I found the Meg and Marcie to be pretty bad offenders, the Lucy not quite so much. While you are making changes and settling into your new size and breast shape Cleo may be a bra that just won't give you a great fit. Passable and wearable fit, and hopefully comfortable, but not a good one. I love my Cleos, but they definitely don't come close to fitting how they should.

I completely agree with this. I have partly the same fit issues. Sizing down in Cleo would make me cramp in the bottom and I've decided generally full on bottom bras with stretchy lace are better for me for this reason. So Jasmine is a ton smarter construction than Cleo. But when I tried sizing down in Jasmine I had a disaster since that stretchy lace gives no support and I need the firm support of the bottom. Otherwise boobs just hangs sad and fully projected.
And now the high set problem; again I think bras with room on bottom are better and easier to make boobs lift. My boobs are higher in my Deco than in my Tanzania. And to me that's simply logic since Tanzania just compress stuff.
Also this; http://www.bratabase.com/list/7rv/ Gaping or quadboob happens to everyone in Cleo bras, even the small boobed girls. I think it's the same phenomenon as with halfcups. We either quad or we have gaping and it's completely logic.
Seeing you in Lucy however makes me want to try it myself after all. Marcie cut I've ruled out as simply bad for bigger breasts with a lot of weight. Almost everyone just looks so strange in that cut.
bybabysrules I thought about Marcie cut as better for implant boobs since they are not as heavy as fat or glandular? Is there any logic in that you think? If that cut isn't even good for implants I'd say they should just stop making it in larger sizes all together because it's simply not made to hold big boobs up.
Anyhow; I have semi soft boobs and very sagged so they might not work the same. But I'm super full in the middle compared to elsewhere and the lifting up boobs to their natural position is a tedious task. (I've had my boobs completely wrong these past months and I now know much better how they work).

Vee I've been wearing Ewa Michalak bras altered by another user here. They are the only thing that fits well with out wide straps (one alteration). Sometimes I wear a Panache Sport, but the cups are too tall and I have problems with them digging in the armpit area. I haven't worn my Lucy recently because I've lost a tiny bit of size after stopping breastfeeding. So I'm kind of in between sizes, but I don't want to buy until I know for sure what size I'll settle into. Really, I don't have much of anything that really fits well.
eliza There are several different implant shapes and profiles. You can have round or anatomical implants. From there they each have a base width, but different levels of projection. I have implants with the narrowest base and most projection. The Marcie and similar Cleo bras would be perfect for a woman that has a wider based implant with less projection. I have seen the Marcie fit one woman with implants absolutely gorgeously, it gives me bra envy because I would love this bra to fit/work for me. -
bybabysrules Ah, sorry I was unclear about specific implants shapes. I've been looking up a good deal about implants shapes since, since a year back. So I know about low, moderate, high and ultra high profile implants (which I know you have and also compared have compared Vee with. I haven't yet managed to figure out what tear drop shaped implants is so far and also not learned about placement and such. I just looked at them to learn more about breast shapes :)
I find those descriptions generally smart to name breast shapes.
Another thing I've found useful is reading up on which ribcages are recommended which profiles, and looking at results to determine what I find good looking and so on. I would for example look terribly funny in high profile implants since I have such a wide ribcage *nerding*.
Btw do you get problems with wire distortion, since you have less weight in your boobs compared to say Vee?

helpfulI would guess a 28 H or 28 HH because of your measurements.

helpfulOne cup size smaller than this one I think? The band looks just about right, you can fit your thumb in there but never a fist?

I think I agree. But first question; how much too wide are those wires?! When I saw the pics I was like "omg her wires are just as wide as my super wide wires ever were". That is what makes me think possibly 2 cups but different cut instead. Namely Alexa cut. Can we see that one too? So 30H Alexa maybe. Sizing down in this cut might be problematic. But definitely Jasmine in 30HH or 28J instead I guess. Since the lace on Jasmine doesn't do anything for boobs more than sit there I still think one needs in general to fit that one as a halfcup.

I'll snap some shots of alexa when I get home.
This is my altered 32H Lucy that's probably the best fit in the cups now. I know it looks weird because overlaping wires, but the gore is actually flat and there's no quad or major gap (there is a gap when I exhale or slouch, but that's rigid lace for ya)

helpfulYou might have to take in the top lace in some of the Cleos, especially if the bottom portions of the cup fits. This may help if you find one cup size cuts in but the next is a bit generous.

I think you are right on the fit issues, I saw you in that Aqua Marcie and it's exactly how I looked like in some of my bras.
With Meg I had the exact problem Bras I hate did, even though mone was way too large. If i pulled my shoulders back, it would still cut in.
And you are right about lucy (with an altered gore of course), the only thing keeping me stocking up on them is that stupid band -.-
Argh, maybe it's just one of those settlements I'll need to take :(
What bras are you wearing lately anyway?
