Bra fitting help » I think this is a good fit, clarification?

Issue resolved
Think I'm going to stay off ordering another Ewa for a while, maybe try a 60GG/65G if anyone is selling.
Original problem
The band is too tight, hence the extender, I've recently lost weight and my ribcage is about half an inch smaller, so tight bands means the underwires hurt my ribs. I like my bands as loose as I can get away with.
I think it's a pretty good fit, the underwires are too wide but that happens with all bras, it's not too bad in this one.
Does anyone think differently? I can easily give other people advice on bra fit but I can never tell on myself...

helpfulYour boobs are mashed together and you seem to have extra tissue under your arms - you should try a cup size up! Also a front on photo with arms up would be very helpful to tell if the band fits you (floating gore). A 30G or maybe even GG would seem to be a better fit

helpfulHi, I'm new at bratabasing so I'm not sure how to reply to your comment! I bought a half cup style and it was enormous (I felt) compared to the other Ewa bra - in a PL Carmen I bought a 55H but could have done with a 55GG (the 55H is perfect with the padded inserts though, I like the shape so we're now buddies!), in a CH Cielus I bought a 60GG but would have been better with a 60FF cup wise. I stuffed the padded inserts into it and it was still a cup size too large. I would personally go for the 65G instead of 65FF, you can always pop some inserts in if it's an almost-fit. There was quite a lot of projection which is common in half cup styles. I measured both bras up, if that helps at all!

I'll go take a look, thanks so much!
I'm feeling like giving up with Ewa, her band sizing seems to be random. I revieved a strapless 65FF half cup, which is alright in the cup maybe a tad small, but way too big in the band. And then a 60 band is tighter than I'm comfortable with. Sigh.
P.S There's a little link underneath where you can "add comment" if you want to reply to a comment.

I feel like it's fairly hit-and-miss. I couldn't believe the cup difference - they should have been the same or very close to. I bought an extender for the 26 I bought. I measure 24.8in underbust when on my period, and 24in other times so I should feel comfortable in a 26/55, I find it basically suffocating and can barely clasp it myself though! Hense an extender and otherwise 28 bra. I'm still finding my way around bras as I have to order everything online which is all trial and error, sizing seems so bizarre especially to do with shapes. I'm finding it far easier to fit my two shallow 30E friends as their size is more readily available.
P.S. if you don't already, you should come hang out at http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits , http://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems and http://www.reddit.com/r/braswap !
(why on the earth is 'add a comment' so far to the left? I feel like an idiot!)

I would hate to be you trying to find bras! I measure 26" but I can't stand to wear tight bands, im happiest in a standard 28 or a tight 30, which makes me quite lucky in that have more choice of bras.
I really struggle with shapes, did you figure yours out? I still can't, I know I'm very narrow close together an high set but with the shallow/deep and stuff, not a clue :(
I do hang out on there sometimes, mostly just lurking though and trying to help occasionally. A bra that fits was where I first found my real size and had an "oh my god wow!" moment about my boobs :)

I am close set and have really narrow shoulders, high set. Very soft tissue with issues spilling from time to time with soft constructed bras - if it's not moulded or padded, it's a no-go. I need wires less than 1cm apart at the gore. Touching is best. Ewa are a bit wide strap-wise for me. I have a reasonable bit of projection but the wrong shape for a half cup (what shape even is a half cup for?!)
I find plunges the most comfortable, but I find that most large cup ranges come up way too high at the underarms, the wires are too far back/wide and I also get gaping at the top of the cups in strapped 1 part cup bras (where the cup meets the strap in a triangle) so 2+ part cups fit much better.
I own Comexim Giselle and it is a dream! I wish the straps were closer together though. The wires are only 14cm wide. Straps that are adjustable all the way or for a large portion of the way are important for me.
I think you have a tendancy to wear bras with cups that are too small like I have had in the past. The 28E Deco Strapless you have as 'fitting' in your profile is appalling (no offense!) in the photos, the wires are too far apart for you so even in an FF-G like you should probably wear it probably would not fit properly. The same with the Deco Honey and regular Deco, wires are too far apart so you'll get mashed-together-boob syndrome which is pretty common with narrow + soft tissue gals in too small cups. The M&S you are wearing fits substantially better! You have the same strap/top of cup thing going on like I have which is only avoided by a different style. If you went for the smaller band in the Ewa Mleczny strapless and had the gore taken in by a seamstress so wires were touching it would be a nicely fitted strapless.

I think you're similar to me, shape-wise, all I wear are plunges, every day. I am currently trying to find a half cup/balcony that fits me.
I have the poking under my arms thing too, which is mainly why I won't go up a size, I can't cope with how much it rubs my underarms, it's so painful.I don't actually think I have soft tissue, but I don't know how to tell. I guessed they were quite firm because they don't move much when I take off my bra.
I did order a comexim! It's been lost in the post though so I'm trying to sort that our with a replacement, no idea what size to get. I think I might need like 65 G but... I have no idea. I tried their sizing chart but I measure as something like 65 F which would be way too small.
Oh the Deco strapless was sold a while ago, I only put it on to get pictures for listing :P I know it looks ridiculous, it did used to fit me really well though, when I was a 28E. I need to update that as not fit under my newest measurement!
I love the deco :( you're right though, I just haven't found anything better as of yet, and it's quite comfortable. I don't like the M&S, I actually quadboob a little and I hate how tight the band is, it annoys the hell out of me.
I love the Ewa strapless, I think I'm going to take the band in an inch or so, if it had straps it's be a great everyday bra. I think I've just gotten used to gores being too wide, because they all are, some more than others, but I'd love a bra with a really low, really narrow gore.
Is it okay if you message me/I message you? You've been a lot of help to me, I thought I was quite rare in a lot of these issues :/

Ohh I just figured I have awesome cleavage in this bra... heh.
I can't take a picture right now but the gore does sit flat, I did a bit of a dance around in it earlier and the gore didn't budge.
Thanks for the advice, I think I'll try and get hold of a cheap 30G/GG PL, if I tried a halfcup style do you think I'd need a smaller cup size? I have heard they're a little more generous.
