Bra fitting help » Are these cups too big? Wires too wide?
Parfait By Affinitas » Jeanie Plunge Molded Padded Bra (4801) » 30G 30:9
Issue resolved
It fits now. Tissue migration?
Original problem
I was previously wearing 34DDs because I didn't know any better. I tried the Casey 30F and it caused slight quadraboob, so I then tried Jeanie 30G and I think the cup may be too large. Also the wires/side of cup are uncomfortable under my arms.

helpfuldid you intentionally skip the 30FF? if the 30F was only causing a little quadboob you should probably have tried that instead of skipping up to the G cup. that might help with the wires poking you under the arms

aw, it's okay. the sizing differences are terrible and absurd :[ i hope the 30FF works out for you! i'm actually waiting for one in the same size, haha
-
Seriously! I ordered two other Parfait styles in that size so hopefully they fit. I'm afraid to try another brand!
-
ooh i know what you mean. almost all of my bras have been cleos - i finally bit the bullet and ordered a parfait bra and a deco and am hoping one of them will work out.

I just received the 30FF ... oh, my lawd, it is so glorious. I tried it on with a t-shirt on and asked my mom if she noticed any bulges, she went "DAYUMM!!" :D

hooray! i'm glad that worked out. i've got my fingers crossed! :]

I'm really happy for you! :)

helpfulMaybe the discomfort comes from a band that is slightly too tight, the stretched band is the same size as your ribcage if you distract the cm needed for the first hook.
It looks as if the cup is too tall, rather than too big, if that makes sense, but maybe a smaller cup would solve that too, just be careful it might be too narrow then.Updated on March 31, 2013 Flag this

I also have the issue with the Jeanie cups being too tall for my breasts. The Deco tends to work for me as well if Jeanie is not suiting you.
-
Not actually sure if the issue has to do with actual height though, I've managed to find bras that are too tall for my breasts and I am 5'10 tall...
-
Oh, I don't think the cup-tallness has anything to do with body-tallness! I'm 5'8", which I think is taller than average and often run into too-tall cups.
This is also influenced by my full-on-bottom shape, which means the top of the cup will not get filled out if it's tall and cut for a more average profile ,

Well ... This is embarrassing but I mixed up US and UK sizing. I have the Casey 30F but when I checked the label to look online I read the US size and ordered that one online not realizing it was the wrong one. Boob noob mistake!! I am waiting for a 30FF that I ordered online and I'll add that bra once I get it.
