Bra fitting help » Cups too small? Slight quadraboob?
Parfait By Affinitas » Casey (2801) » 30F 30:7
Issue resolved
Bought larger cup size.
Original problem
This 30F was my first attempt at buying a properly fitting bra. I was previously wearing 34DD. This band was VERY SNUG at first but has since stretched out. I feel like it gives me a slight quadraboob but it's not really detectable under clothing. Should I try the 30FF? I tried the 30G in the Jeanie style and I don't think it worked for me.

helpfulKudos for your first attempt because you are really not that far from a good fit
The bra seems to borderline fit your smaller boob, but the general fitting rule is that bras should fit your larger breast, and on your bigger boob it's way too small.
Now, for women with more significant asymmetry this tends to be a problem, especially in molded bras.
So my suggestion would be to try Ewa Michalak's plunges (I see you're into those ) that have asymmetry pads - so you put pads in for your smaller boob and problem solved. You can also try adding pads to any other molded bra after you fit your larger breast.
Also, you can try bras made of stretch lace like Amelie Balconette Bra , Andorra Full Cup , Andorra Plunge , Jasmine or Rive Gauche 3 Part Cup.
Those are very forgiving and will accommodate both your boobs with comfort and careAnd another note - I don't know how tight your under bust measure of 76,2 is, but if you're boobs aren't too heavy, I think you could be more comfortable and well supported in most 32 bands. But that's your choice really

helpfulI agree that it looks like you need to experiment with a larger cup size. Also, to help with the 'omg, tighter band is tight!' shock, I find it really helps to use a bra extender at first. I buy a bra that I CAN wear fastened without the extender, but that's just a bit too tight to be comfortable, and then for the first few times I wear it I use the extender - usually bras have a bit of a break in period where the elastic will relax a little, and the extender gets you through that more comfortably.
(It's that, or buy the next band size up, and on me I tend to find that doing the next band size up significantly shortens the life of the bra because of course, as mentioned, they stretch. And the next size up might need to be on something other than the loosest hooks to start with, to fit properly, so then when it stretches you don't really have far to go before you just can't make it tighter. )
(That said, while you do want the band to be snug, particularly if you have heavier boobs, you don't want to feel like it actively restricts you from breathing properly. I don't mean a vague feeling of tightness, I mean if you try to take a sensibly deep breath - like you might on an average day when you want to let out a sigh, for example - and the band just has no stretch left to stretch with you when you do that, then that quite probably is a too tight band. It should feel like a firm hug, basically, that moves with you when you breathe.)

helpfulI think going up a cup size would be good , you can defiantly see the quad boob effect on your left breast in the pictures.

I can say from experience that the next cup size (30FF) in this bra adds about 1.5" of space. Hopefully that's enough :)

helpfulI would say try a 30G or 32FF!

I have the 30G in similar style by the same brand, and the top/side of the cup cuts into my armpit and sides. I think the 30 band is right, I'm still fine-tuning the cups though. I'm waiting on a few more bras to arrive by mail so hopefully something works!

helpfulLooks good.
If you do go for a bigger cup size to accommodate your left breast being bigger than your right, I suggest you put some sort of padding in the smaller size to even it out.

They're quite heavy! Just as a joke, my boyfriend lifted up my breasts when I stood on the scale and the measurement dropped about 5lbs! I have some 32DDD&DD (US sizes) and they are way too small but that's more of a cup issue than the band.
