Issue resolved
Both! I'll try a Cleo Lucy in a 32E next.
Thanks!
Original problem
The band feels too tight. I can fasten it, but it hurts. My underbust is 29, but I think I have pretty sensitive skin, so I guess the tight bands aren't going to work for me. Good thing I have small boobs!
I'm also getting a bit of quad boob, though it's not dramatic because my breast tissue is pretty firm. But the top of the cup definitely cuts into the top of my boob.
The bottom of my boob doesn't fill the bottom of the cup, though it's hard to see in the molded cup. You can sort of see it in the angle shot where the cup drops below the wire at the bottom. There's no boob in there.
The wires seem like a great fit. This is the first bra I've tried where the wire doesn't sit on the outside of my boobs.
Overall, it doesn't fit, so I'll be listing it.
I'm not sure where to go from here. Is the quad boob/wrinkly bottom indicating some orange-in-a glass, meaning I should go up a cup size? Or is the shape just wrong for me, in that I need a shallower cup? I'm definitely going to try a 32 next time, since this band is pretty uncomfortable.
Any suggestions of brands or sizes to try would be very welcome!

helpfulThe Cleo Jude is well known for some of the problems you are experiencing. Namely, cutting in at the top due to the material along the edge of the cup. And I think the shallowness you are also having a problem with- in not filling out the bottom the cup. I know I have both issues with this bra. Even going up a cup so that I had empty space in the cup, did not really stop the cutting in at the top.
So I would say that this bra is just not right for you(or alot of other women). As for suggestions on other brands, styles etc.. I might leave that to others who have more knowledge in that area.

helpfulHow does the band fit when you close the bra with the cups on your back?
If the cups are too narrow, it will take space from the band, so if you get better fitting cups, it might be that the bands fits then too. But with your measurements it is also possible that you need 32, so perhaps you should try 32DD/E.
The cups are just a horrible fit on you, but that is quite normal for the Jude Everything else should fit betterUpdated on March 30, 2013 Flag this
I tried it with the cups in the back -- it's better, but still uncomfortable. I think I'll try a 32E in a Cleo Lucy and see how that looks.
