Curvy Kate » Daily Boost Balcony Bra (CK1801) » 34JJ 34:14
The band is quite stretchy (which I love) which means I would do better in a 32. Question is, what cup size should I go for? I'd say this is on the large side for me, especially on my smaller breasts, where you can see I've tightened the strap excessively - So I think maybe 32JJ would do? I want to get a good estimation of what to get in the new Lolas from CK! I've heard so many be very unhappy with this bra, but I'd say it's very good on me, and oh so comfortable.
EDIT: I've added pictures of the straps loosened - As you can see, it is definitely too big for my small right breast, but that was expected, and easy fix with a tighter strap: On to the left breast, tightening the strap closes it a bit at the top, that might otherwise gape BUT when the straps are loose, it bunched up under the breast, and then is not too big. So, technically, volume may be a little bit too big, but since I have to tighten the straps anyways to avoid bunching-under-boob (not sure of orange-in-glass), I think it's better if I keep the slightly too large volume, rather than slightly too small? (Sorry that the picture of my left side is so blurry, but taking pictures with my left hand is not easy!)

helpfulI actually think it looks really good on your bigger side, so I would rather go for a 32K and then add a pad or two on the smaller one to even it out. But then I'm a great advocate of better slightly too big than slightly too small in these cases.
Anyway, it does look really good on you, and seem to suit you well. It also doesn't seam to try to attack your arms, which is another good sign.

And yes, I've heard so many people having trouble with this bra - because it attack the arms? How so?

Some people have the regular east/west caused by too shallow cup, that one is quite common in CK in general.
And then, when sizing up, the armhole is too small/too far back, the straps too long and/or the wires too wide. Attacking the arm is about the armhole being too close to the arm, so that when tighteneing the straps the arm holes cuts into the arm.
You might also want to check out CKs swimwear. Their bikinis from last season had a very similar cut (though the backs are quite tight and the cups weirdly runs quite a bit bigger, 2-3 cup sizes I would say than Daily Boost).

Oh yes I tried Bondi Breeze in 32HH and I completely drowned while the band was very tight! I think it had a lot of room in the bottom since my boobs completely disappeared.

helpfulYour last picture close to the label, that back tissue is going to get bigger if you go for a tighter band size. If you do not move that tissue to the front before going band sizes smaller you are just going to squeeze that location tighter making that part bulge upwards.
I know maybe sometimes some of you like to wear the band size tighter to get a more secure fit, to prevent tissue from going to the back, prevent ride up. etc. But wearing it tight is not the solution. The weight of the breast is the problem, not because the band being too tight or too loose. The weight is dragging the front down disturbing the balance in the back.
How do you tell if the breast is too heavy? Look at the front, the bottom chin of the cups is digging into your body because of the weight on the top. I might be wrong since you might be wearing the band too tight but that doesn't look too tight cause the back doesn't dig as much as the front.
Try looking at bras with more cup support, but cup support sometimes means more forward projection of the breast. Which I know some women can't accept that from the side. There's no perfect bra out there.
Of course, this is our personal opinion.

"to get a more secure fit, to prevent tissue from going to the back" <-- Yes, exactly - when I wear loose bands, I feel like my tissue is slipping out.
"the bottom chin of the cups is digging into your body because of the weight on the top." - Agree very much! I actually wrote a blog post about this issue, that the bra can almost be 'resting' on top of my roll, regardless of how tight or loose.
How does the cup it self have more support? Like, a steeper angle? I don't mind forward projection at all, in fact that is what I prefer!

helpfulFirst I want to say that this bra looks very good on you I would try it in a 32 band.
Also what might help guessing how much the cups are too big is when you loosen the straps to a more comfortable length. If there is a lot of gaping on top, size down to 32JJ. But best is order both 32K & 32JJ to compare.

Yes, I think I will end up doing that, ordering both - so I hope the babydoll Lola won't be too expensive, because that's what I am dying to try :b
The main problem when I loosened the straps was actually that it bunched up under my boob - bit orange-in-glass-like. I will take a picture this afternoon I think

helpfulIf you want to try and make this bra work I would suggest not going to a 32 band but trying a smaller cup. try a 34j. A 34j=32jj which one will fit best depends on how you want it to hold you. Seeing your back picture I would recommend the 34j because it will keep the wings longer helping to not push your back together, while going from a jj to a j will help your breasts fit into the cup better. filling out the cup should also help make the band feel tighter so you are not just stretching the wire from side to side by from lack of the fill. With your bigger breast you will have to loosen the strap a bit more so you dont quad boob.
Hope this helps!Updated on September 22, 2013 Flag this
I too prefer slightly too big than slightly too small - the surface of my boobs is so soft, even if I think of small cups, they quadro boob xD I'm glad I took the pictures with the loose straps, because now I feel more sure of this cup-size, so I think I'll go for the 32K. I don't mind too much my boob-difference, I usually just tighten one side more, but since I have a bunch of Ewa Michalak pads now, I guess I could dump a few in the cup :)
I am so thrilled that this bra turned out to be so good on me, just in time for CK to make the Lolas based on this shape! And I quite like the black and mocha as well, and they even come with high-waisted briefs :b So even though I don't need this nude anymore (at least I hope not - I have EM Karmelki on it's way to me), it has still been very very succesful to try!
