Issue resolved
Technically, the issue is not /fixed/ per se, but a solution was found and I am waiting on the exchange process to see if it will play out into a well-fitting bra. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions, and sorry for the piss-poor ribcage measurement that was throwing everyone off.
Original problem
Bought from Bare Necessities, so I'm looking to exchange for the right size, but I need some guidance for how to size up.
The band I would say is fine - it runs a little tighter than my Chantelle 32 band, but I expect I'll be able to fasten from behind as normal (rather than the hook-and-twist) with a few wears.
The cups, however...oh, the cups. I picked cup sizing based on comparative measurements provided by this site, but something seems to have gone wrong. Obviously there is quadboob, and dare I say hexaboob with the sides taken into account, but I can't tell if this is solvable by going up one or two sizes. I'm thinking two, as the Panache Sienna I bought in a 32G has the same problem, just slightly less so. Help?

helpfulI think you'd need at least a 32H or 32HH for this to fit properly. The reason I say that is just based on my own measurements compared to yours. My ribcage is 31, perimeter 15, and nip 2 neck 11.5. I have this bra in a 32J, and it fits pretty well (and I'm impressed you were able to tolerate the tight 32 band....I could barely fasten it and had to wear it with an extender for a few days!)

Yeah, I take it back....I agree with everyone else about sizing up in that band (that is, if your ribcage measurement of 34.5 is accurate.) You say the band seems to feel fine, so I wonder if your ribcage isn't smaller than what you measured (because again, I couldn't even fasten mine for the first few days without an extender with a 31 inch ribcage.) The band finally stretched out enough that I didn't need the extender anymore, but it's still VERY snug. t_maia is right when she said this band is not very stretchy at all.

So it turns out I am, in fact, truly awful at measuring my own ribcage, which is actually only 32.5 inches around, not 34.5 (double-checked, promise) - I think I committed the double errors of having the tape measure not level and measuring on an inhale. Trust me, the apparent disparity between how comfortable I find the 32s and that initial measurement was utterly perplexing to me, as well.
Anyway, thanks everyone for your help. I'm shipping off for a 32HH exchange today, and hopefully that'll fit, or at the very least not have my boobs exploding everywhere.

Ha, ok, that makes more sense! I was wondering why you weren't complaining of feeling like you were being sliced in half from that insanely tight 32 band....now we know why. ;)
Good luck with your new purchase! I hope it fits. You and I are close in measurements, so I have a feeling the HH will be good for you.

helpful32G will be too small. With your breast perimeter and measurements, I'd put you in something closer to 32HH or 34H.

helpfulThe band of the Ariza stretches very little. Most women size up in the band in this bra. With your underbust measurements of 87 cms /34.5 inches I think you need a 34 band in general and a 36 band in the Ariza.
I also agree that the cups are way too small. Gosh, you must be dying in that bra, my breasts hurt just from looking at it.
I think that trying the Ariza 34H and 36GG would be a good starting point, for all others I would recommend the 34H.

I agree. I would actually even recommend going up in band size as well :)
