Issue resolved
If I order this bra again, I will be sizing down in the cup. I will be listing it here.
Original problem
I am trying to figure out if this bra is just too big for me or if the style isn't right for my breasts. This is the 34GG and I can fit my hand down the front of the bra. I also feel like the band isn't tight enough for a sports bra. Should I get a different size in this bra, or another style all together?

You went with Panache sport which, if it was a thought through decision, means you like encapsulation more then compression. However, the main principle of the bra shouldn't compromise on its purpose.
What is a sports bra supposed to do? Prevent bounce, minimize impact.
Does it do it's job? That's the only question you should ask and one only you can answer.
If you don't feel supported enough try 32GG, or a different brand/type.
Personaly, I love Enell, but that one relies on compression...Updated on February 12, 2013 Flag this

helpfulI think you should try a different size. I find that it does run big. It's an amazing bra, so it's worth finding a good fit!

Should I size down in the cup only?

helpfulLooks like it should fit, going by the numbers. But yeah, that's a lot of extra room. How does the band feel? If ti feels snug and doesn't move when you jump and move your arms around, then just go down in cup size. Although--that doesn't make sense looking at the measurements. I have hesitated buying a new sports bra because it seems everyone has the same issues you are having, where it SHOULD fit but it's way off.

The band doesn't feel snug at all. I mean, a Freya 34 band usually measures around 27", and this band is 29". When I jump, all I can feel are my boobs moving around in the bra :\ I was tempted to go down in the band when I ordered this bra

That sounds too stretchy to be a good sports bra anyway. But yeah, you have to go down at least one band size.

Hello, I've got the same problem. The 34F was a little bit big and too loose (it works on tightest hook). So I went for 32FF... And I can't breathe in it! Even with extender it's too tight...
Maybe the smaller cup will work better for you (better support or so) :)

helpful1: Have you properly swooped and scooped your breast tissue? How to do it; bend forward so that your boobs are hanging down, put your hand inside the bra and pull breast tissue from the armpit area into the cups, pull excessively, it feels kinda stupid but it works! Make sure the straps are short enough because if you don't all the scooping will go back to where it was.
2: Have you tried this? Use your thumb to follow the line of the underwire(the side, near your armpit) and use your other hand to gently but firmly tug the middle upper section of the sports bra to the opposite direction. (to the direction of the other cup). If not, try it! I JUST got my Panache sports bra today, and I find it too big in the cups. I tried doing what I just explained to simulate a smaller cup, and when I did that the gaping was gone and I could no longer fit my other hand inside the cup.
//I really don't THINK your band is too loose, but I can't be certain, only you can be. I don't think it's too loose because it DOES look to be horizontal across your back and the hooks seem a wee bit strained(as expected in a sports bra). However, if you can pull the band more than say 5 cm from your back, you could be right I'm not saying I'm right about the band, but definitely try out my tips! Good luck!

I haven't swooped and scooped yet, but when I do, I will come back and let you know :)

Swooping and scooping doesn't help :/
Oh well, off to the listings this goes! Thank you for your help :)

Right now, it's not doing it's job :/
I have a Freya Active, but it's a size too small now...I might just get another in my size. I do like the compression style too.
I just wanted a pretty pink sports bra :(
