Issue resolved
Boobs got smaller, bra fits better so yeah, It was too small, now that the band and cups fit better, I just have the too low gore, straps too far apart and rash from the wires issue. :/
Original problem
Those of you who read my Karmelki adventure know how thrilled I was with this bra. I fell in love with it at first glance, it was a very passionate affair. However, after just a few days together this bra started to cause me more grief than I vould imagine and as life would have it, I ended up hating it for all the same reasons I fell fow him.
1. The cups started collapsing under me. This I had with chp bratki, but figured it was just too weak for my heavy boobs. Xlhourglass had the same issue with her pl's, the cup starts to fold near the wires, compromising the lift.
2. Shape changed
If went from green to purple in two days and it's getting more east-west by the minute. You can see this if you compare pics from day 1 (purple backgrownd) and day 4.
Also, with wear I started getting an issue ladies with softer boobs get in plunges. I wasn't exactly spilling out of it, I dont get any quadboob, but the boobs did settle in at the center leaving the gap at the top of the cup bigger.
This surprised me as I nwver really thought of my boobs as soft. O seem to do better in higher gores, they make me feel stable and secure. This is when I figured I need to tighten the straps all the way - it stopped the process for 1 day, but after that the same problems started evolving again and along came some new ones.
3. Straps killing me
They are wide, I'll give them that, but they are not padded in any way. With too much strain on them they tend to curl up and cut in almost like the Beau straps.
The more I tightend them, the more too far apart they were for me.Apart from that, I've been struggling with the band from day one. At first it seemed too tight but it did stretch out quickly. However the band started curling under and the sharp edge almost made me bleed. It gets worst on the sides where I can't sew up the band so it stops curling.
I have added extenders but after 4 days of wear even 1 extra row of hooks makes the band ride up noticably. The band doesn't cut in as badly then but it still sore and red.
And guess what - the wires on this are still too wide for me.Now, here are my questions:
Why is the bra collapsing and changing shape? All possible answers, please!
Should I give up on this bra alltogether or is there any sense in altering it?
Should I generally give up plunges and/or padded bras?
If I was to take another chance with ewa, what size should I take?
Any other bra ideas and recommendations for me?
Thank you for your time

helpfulYeah, this is just as me and Tease Me. I actually did bleed from it, it just didn't see it until afterwards. I think the bras we fall in love with from the start seldom are the best bras.
But now a lengthy comment about possible explanations, and again I will go wild with them. There are more of them in the back of my head I think
"Instead the best explanation probably is that your boobs are center heavy and therefore they push the bra to the sides. The deco was even more open than this bra and you fell out of it in the middle because there was nothing holding you from it. Here it is and the forces goes against each other which pushes out the center gore and makes the whole bra slope and go east and west."
That is what I wrote to alisa.
I'm thinking there might be something similar here, but also not.
This is what I kind of think.
Ewa bras are made for those not having a natural cleavage so that they can get some. The naturally separated get pulled together and the full on bottom get lifts so the top is shaped.
On you the effect of her bras is kind of instead exaggerating your natural shape. Kind of like the Braologie bra, but without side support panels to prevent you from going east and west?
Also this explanation by BIHAL works http://brasihate.blogspot.se/2012/07/masquerade-delphi-review.html "But in the vertical-seam construction, the lift comes more from the outer section which pulls straight up, so the boobs are pressed more towards the center."
I experience this in Ewa, and in Tease Me. I am no where even near center heavy but the strap position and the construction of the bra kind of works that way.
The more tightened the more forcing them towards the center.
And yes, I think you always should go for a high gores. Your boobs are heaviest where there are no wires and fabric supporting them, it kind of is logic the bra will crack under the weight.
To me it has really never made sense that Ewa bras could be everyday bras. The construction isn't that stable. To me it makes most sense that the best made bras for bigger boobs are high gore fullcups with balcony construction and a really wide band and good straps to go with it. Like plus size bras, but better, since the plus size bras are bad at lifting.

You are right. The pull from the strap is very simmilar to that of cleo bras, however they have higher gores witch is why they work for me.
Do you think altering could make it better or I should just give up on Ewa? -
Hmm I'm not sure ;/ In theory you could move the strap position even further out to get narrower wires and more room in the cups and then add yet another strap in the middle to kind of tip the fit over and me able to wear it higher and so preventing east west. And pad the straps of course. But I guess then the bra would in reality end up too small.
Maybe sizing up and doing all those alterations might work.
Also you could alter it Braologie style with additional band width and side support. The latter would probably be the most functioning alteration.
Or you could try out one of the Braboratory strap designs with the three part straps. I kind of think the last might work out best. Again you'd tip the bra over to become closer to your body. So even more green shape but the higher up the green is lifted the closer it again becomes to the body just as the exaggerated purple becomes blue?
The three part straps and additional band width actually might save it. Not to become an everyday bra, but to become a whole moly pushup bra.
MilkAndHoney or Nesoa might have some less radical ideas :D
I would be curious to see you in the S. I have a heard time imagining your boobs would look pointy in it even if it's made to look like that. Kind of like BIHAL not looking pointy in the Satine.
In general I doubt this bra could be fixed in reality to anything but a special occasions bra. But for that again the three part straps would be interesting to see.
You could also tighten the hooks unevenly to prevent the bra from riding up?
Too many suggestions, too little answers ;/ Buy an S a size up. It's my best suggestion ;/

And really I am curious to see how you'd do in Freya!
-
Probably well - have you seen chellosybmarine in freya lacey?
If I could just make myself settle for that shape.. -
Ohmy, please try that bra! BrasAndBodyImage also is stunning in that one.
I've decided today to go back to Freya. They are the easiest bras to alter and their wires are in general wider on bottom than Panache. I've also had a Triumph fitting today :D

helpfulIf you are wearing it many days in a row, that could also be making any issues worse. I know for myself, if I wear a bra (even a well fitting one) more than two days in a row it becomes unbearable to wear and I need to give it a rest.

I wore the bra only the first two days in a row deliberately to stretch the band a bit. Then I wore it every other day and the pictures were taken the forth time I wore it.

I get that in pretty much all bras that are more east-west than forward-facing. My boobs are buddies and want to be close to each other! Shallow, wide cups are a big problem for me. Do you think that applies to this bra?
I have a lot of luck with Freya, personally. Their cups run bigger than Ewa bras, so maybe you would have luck with 30HH or J's? I dunno if you've tried them but I thought I'd throw the recommendation out there :)
Morghan also has a point about wearing bras too long/often. Over time body heat stretches and/or distorts elastic so that could explain the change in shape. Ideally you need a 2-3money day break after wearing a bra all day to let it spring back into shape.
