Issue resolved
Thanks for all your suggestions
Original problem
I know that the band on this bra is too big; it rides up when I lift my arms and throughout the day. I have a wide root (i think?) and my side boob escapes out of the bra. What do you think about where the wire ends on the side: too narrow or just too short?

helpfulHey! So it actually looks like a bit of both. The wires are not wide enough and are too short, the cups are too small in general because you are quadboobing a little bit.
Cleo by Panache and Panache makes bras that are wide in underwires and down to a 28 band, which you need. I think you should try out 28D and 28DD, maybe even 28E if you find those too small after you scoop your breast issues in the cups from the sides.
Good luck!

Yes, the deco doesn't close on the top (no elastic sewn on the top edge), but it is tall and it gaps (on me personally). I also find it very narrow in 28DD, I preferred it slightly more in the 28E because the cups were wider.
Jude is a hard fitting bra I think, but if everything except the top of the cup fit, you probably want to check out some of the other bras they have :)

I also wanted to add that the Curvy Kate Tease me and Thrill me are also very open at the top of the cups, and have wide wires (especially older Thrill Me's).
I don't have as wide/shallow of a root as I used to (since my boobs grew and got more projection), but I feel like those bras would have fit me well back when I had a shape similar to yours. :)

This is just awfully too small. You should try at least 28D, perhaps 28DD

Yes, it's small overall for you, I think... I have Jude in 28E and it does the same as your Jude in 28DD - cup too fast-closing, quad boob. Based on your breast shape from what Ican evaluate based on the pictures, I too would recommend Panache for their wide underwires. How about the Capella? I love it, and I have similar shaped breasts.

Atlantida would you suggest the same size in the capella as the jude/juna?

helpfullovely I have all three in 28E and here's how I find they compare:
Capella: my best fit. Long wires, great at containing all the breast tisue under the arm. Shallower cups than the Juna.
Juna: wearing it right now, so soft and comfortable. Cups a bit bigger, fits my bigger boob great but gaps a tiny bit at the top of my smaller boob. The band is more elastic also, so I've already had to switch to the 2nd hook. All in all I wouldn't trade it for a 28DD, but the Capella in the same size feels more snug.
Jude: oh Jude... you're a headache. In 28E, it feels small for me compared with the other two. Evident quad-boob, poor containment of under arm breast tissue, wires could be longer.
That said, I would suggest the same size in Capella and Juna, but go up a cup at least in Jude.
Hope this helps!Updated on February 19, 2013 Flag this
I tried on a Cleo Jude 28dd and I liked it overall, but I thought the top of the cup was too fast-closing, creating some quad boob even though the cup seemed to be the right volume. I ordered a Deco in a 28D without trying it on, based on your experience do you think it is less fast-closing on top?
