Issue resolved
Well I wouldn't exactly say this is solved but I'd mark it as such anyway. I've returned the bra. It's simply both the wrong size and shape.
Original problem
I think this bra is too deep for me and too big in general. I doubt I would get a good fit in this bra at all, even in another size.
I also think I'm fuller on bottom. I think it's my protruded sternum and ribcage that messes with my bra fitting so my boobs looks bigger than they are.
Old:
I think this bra is too big. On the other hand I'm hesitating about a smaller size fitting better. It looks as if the bottom is fitted right? If I scope I get a heartburn so I don't scope very well. I suppose it's because that when I scope the wires gets distorted? I might try to scope more but I kind of ache too much when I do (I'm ill).
I know the band technically is too loose but I don't care, it's the only thing I can wear right now.
I also tried a Valentina. The wires in that were far too narrow on the bottom.
Technically everything should be wrong in this bra, but it's like the first bra I could wear for 20 minutes without getting killed from my heartburn right now.
Also I do strangle to get lift. The straps are tightened to the absolute max.
The wires are super weak and stretch from 16cm to 21cm

helpfulThe band is definitely too big, it rises too much in the back. You didn't put the measurement for a stretched band, but with a ribcage of 33, you could easily fit a 32 or 34. As for the cups, it's hard to say as you said yourself you don't scoop and because of that it's hard to say if the cups are too large or too small.

izzylawliet cake_mimic: I've tried several 36 bands but right now I cannot wear them. Not even a 36J Andorra softcup (I made it myself!) is loose enough. I think on Andorra it's because of the super firm band that almost feels like it's rubber in it, but I've tried so many 36 band bras these past weeks and I instantly turn super ill.
I do think scoping by leaning a lot forward is a better method for me right, even if I shouldn't really lean forward with my heartburn condition either :D
I don't think this heartburn thing will continue forever but I'm almost considering just wearing soft cups for the rest of my life :D
I'm pretty firm so I can kind of go braless without having much of a fuss, I just have to remember to fix my posture when I do.

I wore my Icone today and the wires are digging into my sternum more and more--and I got the heartburn you mention. So you're definitely onto something.
Also, another take a scooping: I swoop a little and then stand up straight, put my hands on my hips, the put them up higher just under the band and nudge everything forward. It's like a non-forceful scooping, and seems to work.

RG: That's so interesting! And it's rather crazy one can get so ill from them.
I've just gently scoped myself today trying some bras and it seems to work far better. But this bra is just all over too big I think ;/

I now that this is marked as resolved but I'd like to comment in case it helps the original poster or anyone else that might read this. (This is my first comment since joining a few days ago.) My underbreast/rib measurement without pulling too tight or too much slack is 33 inches. I find a 34 band (34K for me) in this Rita model the perfect snugness - snug enough for good support of heavy breasts but not too snug to be uncomfortable. If you decided to try this style again and you have a 33" ribcage, I'd suggest trying the 34 band as someone else suggested. I do find that the wires go back further than they should on the sides for all of the Elomi bra styles that I've tried. It doesn't look like it does for you though.
I agree with Izzylawliet here. I know going down a band might seem like it would make things feel a lot tighter, but since the band is riding up on you so much here, it's squeezing in awkward places where it shouldn't. Also, the bra isn't properly supporting your breasts, so the weight of your breasts supporting themselves might be causing you pain (I get chest pain when I don't wear a bra. I want to be a braless hippie so bad but it hurts.)
Try pulling the band out away from your body in the back, or having someone pull it back for you for you- does the wrinkling in the cups decrease then? If so, the cups might actually be okay, and they're just wrinkling because the band's not supporting them right. :/
And have you tried, instead of scooping, just leaning forward and wiggling a little until your breasts fall into place in the cups?
Another option for you might be softcup bras. They don't have an underwire sitting on your sternum so they'll put less pressure on your ribs, which might help. And there are some brands that make super cute ones!
Different things work for different people, and I don't know the details of what's causing your heartburn, so I can't be a huge help... thought I'd just throw out some tips, though.
