Bra fitting help » Both Up in Cup and Down in Band?

Issue resolved
Had to size up 2 cups. I tried the 28 band which would work great, but the 30 was cheaper so I got that one instead. I am hopeful that this will work.
Original problem
I really want this bra to work out it is so pretty. Obviously the cup is too small. I am not sure if I should go up one up or two. The band feels comfortable where it is but I am pretty sure I could go down to a 28 without discomfort. Would that help to smooth out the wrinkling in the wings? I ordered this online and have to pay to ship it back so I would love to get it right on the next try.

helpfulHow much can you pull the straps away from your shoulders?
I ask because they are as loose as they go, basically falling off your shoulders. I think that if you'd shorten them, the cups would be even smaller.
So I think this could be a two cup issue.
As for the band, it's your comfort in question so It's your call. Note that the band can feel a tad looser when you get up in cup and the wires get a bit wider, but not drastically so.
I'd say tighten the straps and see if it rides up.Updated on April 25, 2013 Flag this

28f then :)

While you're at it; add a 28F and maybe even FF Panache Andorra to the basket for trials. It should fit you :)
I recommend it as fast as I see "rather empty" :D
I agree completely with Vee here :)

28F, i agree! i'm starting to notice that my marcie is about a cup size too small and you're coming out of yours way worse than i am.

I agree that that the Marcie runs a bit small in the cup. Depending on what other brands/models you compare it to, it runs either 1/2 cup too small or a full cup size small. I'm in between 28FF and 28G and the Marcie didn't even *sort of* work in 28FF. :(

helpfulYou have about the same measurements as I do, not sure how tight you've measured the band.. I also have full on bottom boobs. Funny.
But, I suppose.. you also need a 28F unless the band is rather small, then it would be a 30E.Updated on April 25, 2013 Flag this

helpfulIf the cup is too small then you need to up a cup size to a 30E then the band is too large so the sister size in a band size down would be a 28 F or even an FF depending on how much you spill over the cup. From the pictures I think a 28FF would be best because you are already spilling over quite a bit, and if you tighten the straps then you are going to spill over more.

Yeah, I was afraid to pull the straps any tighter since I was hardly in the cup as it was. I tried it on again with the straps tighter and it rides up when I lift my arms, but I also switched it to the tightest hooks.
