Bra fitting help » Don't laugh - the cups are hideous but I love the straps and band

Issue resolved
I'm not going to try this in a larger cup size at this time. Instead I'm going to look for a Parfait Tamara in a larger size. Thanks everyone!
Original problem
I know this is too small and I know it looks so bad it's nearly funny. However, I love the neckline of this bra, and the way the straps and the cups share one piece of material. I have "underarm boobs" that peek out of all my bras, even my Fantasie side-support bra, and this Alegro Jewel is the only bra I've come across that has this shape. I actually have a roll under my arm caused by bad bras (and 3 pregnancies with lots of weight gain & loss). The underwire in the cups does not completely encompass my breast tissue and the cups themselves don't really function as cups on my body. This is definitely a bra for firm tissue, which I definitely don't have! Aside from the cups I love the way this bra fits. The band is high and has a 3 hook attachment. The straps are wide and in just the right place for me. Should I try this same bra in a different size? (It's not big in the "support" function for me.) Do you know of any other bras/brands with this shaping? It really keeps the underarm rolls and bulges away.

helpfulI don't think this is the right bra for you, as the straps already look quite far apart on you. From your measurements, I'd say you would need a 30DD in this bra, which should solve the quadboob as well as most of the fit issues you're having. However, I think it would make the straps go into your armpits and therefore be highly uncomfortable.

helpfulI would say you need to go up at least 2, maybe even 3 cupsizes. The "underarm boobs" that you refer to are migrated breast tissue; with a correctly sized cup and vigorous use of the swoop and scoop you should be able to bring that tissue forward into the cups. However, that's not going to happen with a bra that is too small like this one is.

helpfulHi
I think this fit request actually makes a lot of sense, but maybe in another way than you intended.
For starters this bra has a lot in common with this Braologie vest: http://braologie.myshopify.com/collections/posture-lingerie/products/posture-contour-mini-vest and I've also a lot of times thought about a two layer construction bra that was designed something like this. It looks like an 1800 century dress construction to me. Or probably made to look like that in anyway. Like Marie Antoinette dresses.
Anyhow; as a normal bra this maybe doesn't make sense but the construction as such is clever it used outside another bra to get extra lift and compression to make it look like a good old corset.
Also if you have armpit fat that actually is breast fat but still not migrated breast fat this makes even more sense.
There are some double layer bras on Ebay in smaller sizes as well.
So the answer is yes you can find bras with this construction not just exactly the way you thought it would work I will look into it a little morrow when I'm not just posting from my mobile

Oh there is a US brand like Braologie, if I could only remember their name. I will check my computer later, I'm using my phone right now.

helpfulthis doesn't really address your fit issues with this bra, but the parfait tamara looks sort of similar to this bra. iirc the cups run pretty small in that one as well

You understand exactly what I mean! :-) (I just couldn't figure out how to write it). This is truly a "Marie Antoinette" kind of bra. It even has criss-cross ribbon stitching on the sides, which is gorgeous.
I'm 99.9% certain my armpit fat is migrated tissue. It showed up more than ever after I lost weight after having my daughter 5 years ago. I can't find a bra with high enough sides to keep the tissue from escaping.
I'm going to try to find some "double layer" bras! Fascinating.
I checked out Braologie's website and the "cut" of that bra is exactly what I think I'm looking for. Buying a Braologie in the US seems to be a bit of a hassle, but I may give it a try when I can afford it. I own a bra I purchased for really cheap on Amazon, called a NoeMie Modeling Push-Up bra, that looks similar to the Braologie bra. The one I have isn't the right size for me, but if it was, I think it could really help with the side support issue. My biggest problem with this NoeMie bra is that it's as thick as a sweater. It's really, really heavy, with layers of material in the cups. Not only is the weight uncomfortable, I'd probably drown in my own sweat trying to wear it all day here in Phoenix. The Alegro Jewel is surprisingly light-weight and soft, but the NoeMie is rough as sandpaper...I'm really hesitant to buy a Jewel in larger cup sizes (I have to buy online because I can't find anyplace to try one on). The "cups" are strangely shaped, as though they really aren't supposed to be cups. It's basically a "shelf" bra, I guess, unless you have firm enough tissue to combat its constriction.
