Issue resolved
Wrong bra for my shape.
Original problem
Breast tissue slides all around with out adding straps. Swoop and scoop turns into sag and drag. Orange-in-a-glass, quadboob, armpit spillage, but gaping cups if I lean forward. The shape is strange. Band falls down in front without straps. Fit looks better with both straps on racerback (criss-crossed)... I feel I need a narrower wire in the bottom of the cup, but need this width at the top. Not sure if I should go up or down in cup. Possibly go up in the band, but it is so stretchy already.

helpfulHere are my thoughts after stalking you a bit
Ok, first: Try the test Vee is describing here: http://www.bratabase.com/profile/3bw/adventures/1402/#adventure-comment-10947 Check out my rants about adding more fat and getting a larger and larger crease. Try it and see what happens
This is what I think: You have a conical torso, just like MilkAndHoney Here you can see what happened in the Porcelain on her: http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/porcelain-molded-seamless-underwire-3376/32D/
The ribcage widens above the underbust line and the whole breast simply widens on top as well but is still more shallow on top. That makes almost every bra being too narrow and cutting in on your top and your sides.
This bra is incompatible with that shape. The reason it works better with the straps I would imagine could be because the straps forces fabric to the front and opens up the cups a little more there so that they won't cut in as much. But I'm not sure. However I still think you should just give this bra up in whatever size you see it. Or get a larger one and use pads if you really need a strapless bra, as it's made for someone with a deeper boob and narrower root.
I think you and I might be quite similar as well. I usually call it "boobs everywhere". Up to collarbones, up to armpits, and still pretty close to the waist. But still quite shallow.
Oh and the reason bands on you migrates lower down is because your torso is narrower there. I think MilkAndHoney will fill in my gaps here about the torso.
In general about moulded cups: Claire on Butterfly Collection said the best thing I've heard about it: In other bras bras are shaped to follow the breasts. In moulded bras breasts are forced to follow the shape of the bra. Here's that post: http://blog.butterflycollection.ca/2013/04/how-wire-width-and-cup-shape-affects.html

Yes, this is indeed 'me' in the Panache Porcelain and in many other bras as well: they simply are way too tight along the top edge of the band and cups. You can see very clearly in your side view what is happening: the top edge of the band and cups are strained way more than the bottom, the side seam with the boning is tilting backwards rather dramatically, and the wires are quite stretched in an unbalanced way, which creates that weird pucker in the side bottom of the cups. The 'elf shoe' shape is, I think, a result of the wires stretching in combination with the top edge being too tight.
I don't think any sizing up or down is going to fix this. What you need is a bra that is much wider and open at the top. What you COULD try though, especially if you find you have the same problem in other bras as well, is going up a bunch of band sizes and then alter the band down to fit your tapered torso -- NOT in the usual way by simply chopping of a stretch from the end, but instead by taking in the centre gore and carefully taking a couple of 'darts' out of the band that are wide along the bottom edge but taper to nothing along the top edge.

Other choices are:
Freya Decco/Taylor. I have been told to not try anymore Freya because their wires are too narrow and that they will not fit me.
Masquerade Deity. Pricey and looks similar to the Evie.
Fauve Rosa.
Fantasie Ava.
Also possibly Panache Confetti.
I don't think I have any other options for strapless/multi-way bras.

Anyone tried these "Perk-ups"?
It seems like if this girl really jumped there wouldn't be much support and of course she's like one fifth of my size, but they look nicer than a strapless...
-
Halfway decent reviews and for the price of other strapless bras, maybe I will give them a go... since this Evie thing is not working too well... http://www.underwearsolutions.com/product.asp?P_ID=203&strPageHistory=related

Ah I see. Then to be honest I have no idea what so ever, I gave up strapless bras years ago and I would probably just wear another bra and leave the straps down instead :)
I'm sorry I cannot help with that ;/

Also, I tried Vee's breast perimeter measure technique lying horizontally, and get 13". I get 14" standing and leaning over. My bras that seem to fit are more shallow on the order of 11-12", but I don't have any that really are "too big in the cup" to be able to say if a deeper cup would work better. I am thinking of trying some Parfait in 38G since Parfait seem shallow, wide and tall, and having darts taken in the band maybe, but the 36 FF I have now in another Parfait is too small in the cup and verging on being big enough in the band to ride up.

How wide wires do you think are ideal width for you?
Now I have no experience with the deco family, but I did not find freya wires particularly narrow and even if they are - I think they couldn't be that narrow for you to be unbearable on special occasions.
But there are a lot of strapless options in 34 G that run larger then panache.

Heleana - I wouldn't count out the Freya Deco/Taylor, actually. I have a very shallow shape with a very wide root, so pretty much every strapless bra I try on looks like what you've got going there. The Deco/Taylor is the best-fitting strapless I've tried on yet. In fact, the strapped half-cup version of that bra is the only Freya bra generally recommended for shallow/wide breasts.
-
I would say between 7 and 7.5" is ideal for me and I could get away with maybe 6.5". I guess it depends on how the rest of the cup distributes the volume and how tall the wires come.
-
Well, 6.5 in 34G deco should be wearable then. I thinknyou have quite a few options actually.
I'd just advise against Ewa michalak strapless because that would be even more narrow then the deco. -
Semi-success with Parfiat. The only issue seems to be the the top of the center gore won't lay flat.
-
Do you get quadboob whem you pressit agaist thr sternum? If not, bend it inward a bit.

helpfulI had these same problems in that bra You have good feedback from other folks and are lucky enough to be in a size range with more options. Good luck!
I've tried wearing my normal bras with the straps down, but at least for me there is never enough tension on the top of the band so the tips of the underwire poke out and either leave the cup to gape or give terrible rolls where my breast tissue escapes out the side. Maybe you will have better luck with that method than I did though.

I do need a strapless bra, or one I can wear as a single strap halter, and I've got about 6 weeks to get it before I need to get my bridesmaid's dress fitted and altered. Adding padding is not something I want to do, since my boob volume is already several sizes beyond the dress that was purchased to fit around my chest size. Since you need so much more support in a strapless, are there any in with un-molded cups?
