Issue resolved
too small
Original problem
I'm not sure if this is the right size. Its a 28 E but it feels really tight in the cup. I feel like its squeezing the breast tissue but then again I could be wrong

helpfulYou really should add better pictures and describe your fit issues better. You should have pictures showing the front, back and the side, possibly even angled shots.

helpfulIt seems like the shape doesn't really work for you. Does this describe you? http://www.venusianglow.com/2012/09/small-breasts-with-broad-base.html

wow that is amazing! that is def my shape but i wouldn't say I have small breasts. This is probably the reason why most don't fit

That's a great article, and you did just what Venusian sayes not to - you took the freya unpadded balconette :)
It's weird though, the article doesn't mention Beavissimo halfcups which would be my no1 reccomendation for shallow boobs.I am also surprised that you found the 28 jolie too tight with your 68 cm ribcage, jolie is known to run extra stretchy. So if you don't feel comfy with a tight band, you should probably take 30 or even 32 bands in other brands, because freya is known to run loose.
And no need to get all deffensive about the size of your boobs, we love boobs of all shapes and sizes here :)
But you will find there are women significantly larger boobs then you on this site (I for one, and there are much larger girls than me here), so yeah, you are at thr smaller end of cup sizes, and that's not a bad thing because you do have more options :) -
thanks :) do you think a 28 F would work?

In what bra, style? I don't think this is the right style for you.
But If you look into some halfcups, 28f could be a good start, possibly ff in curvy kate halfcups. -
I think a plunge bra might do better. I ordered a nice half cup bra online but it was too wide and the cups were too shallow. I live in the U.S so if I want to buy a 28 band I have to buy it online which is risky :( I wear a 30 DD in US , not sure what I am in UK sizing

If the article describes your shape, plunges - except for Ewa Michalak and the Lepel Fiore Plunge - won't really fit you.
Go for half-cups! Just because one of them didn't work it doesn't mean half-cups aren't right for you.

helpfulBra is 1 or 2 cups too small for you and pushing down on the top half of your breast making it look flat on top and full at the bottom.
Find a bra that you can wear at a higher level and bigger cups will maybe solve that problem.
But it is still hard to judge since the pictures are not that well taken. We have found out that taking pictures in front of the mirror will help a bit.
Hope that helps.
