Issue resolved
I don't think this is the right bra for me. I tried all suggestions and no results. Moving on to new bras! Thanks everyone.
Original problem
This bra fits much better than the freya padded half cup but still feels too wide in the cup. The underwire seems to also go too far up into my armpit. Is it normal to have the wrinkling on the sides? I tried a cup size down and had quadboob. The band seems to stretch too far and feels loose on. Could this cause the cup wrinkling?

helpfulHi,
The cups are actually ok sized. The problem is all the breast weight is trapped at the bottom and to the side of the breast. The wrinkle is caused by the stretching of the material because of that weight.
Wear the back band a little looser, and the shoulder straps just A TINY BIT longer.
If that still doesn't work it means you need to get cups that are more uplifting at the bottom.
Thanks

helpfulCould you just tell me if the whole cup wrinkles or just the outer layer of the fabric?
The cup does really seem a bit too wide for you.
And the band looks fine, going by the looks even on the tight side, and by the numbers it should fit just right if 73.7 isn't your superloose measurement.
Also, I don't know how squishy your boobs are, but usually in this type of cup construction the perimeter ends up being a bit bigger than the cup depth in a fitting bra. So if your boobs are not rock hard firm, this would suggest that the cup is in fact a bit too wide or that a measuring mistake has occurred.
Anyway, I don't think this is a matter of sizing, but a shape mismatch.
I'm reluctant to suggest other bras as I haven't seen you wear anything else.Updated on March 8, 2013 Flag this

Communikate, if the band stretches that far away from your back, are you sure that the stretched measurement actually is correct? Because based on that it seems as if it would only stretch a tiny bit.
A band as loose as you describe can definitly cause some fabric wrinkling... More so, if it is that loose, with the proper tension in the band the cups will most likely end up way too wide for you. :(
I know the pain of trying and trying to get sometihng that fits even remotely okay in a store but I would rather recommend you looking for something in a 28-band with narrow wires. My first would be to look to Ewa Michalak, but that might not be the best if you're still figuring out your size... In your size range Freya's unpadded plunge balcony bras, like Pollyanna and those with similar cut tend to be quite narrow. Unpadded Cleo's might also be worth a try...

helpfulloosen the straps I think, but the band being too big/cups too wide is contributing to that too.

Vee the cups are only wrinkly on the sides as shown in the picture. The band stretches 4-5 inches away from my back - maybe this is just that the fabric is really stretchy? I just started my bra journey and have only worn the freya padded half cup in a 30FF. The band was fine but the cups went all the way around my sides and was very painful. I assumed I needed something we narrower wires but when I went to Nordstrom to try on they had a very limited selection of 30 bands. So I am looking for some things to order online. Thank you so much for your help.
