Issue resolved
Got some new Comexim bras with regular gore in 55M, a sister size up in the cup and a band size down. And, they fit! It seems like there was a combination here of a too big band and a gore too high due for the cleavage-creating cup construction. Thank you for all of you suggestions!
Original problem
After some wear it's not as optimal as I thought but still it has a lot of potential. The band is clearly too big, this is a the tightest setting and it rides up. The wires are at a great height and width, and the armhole is nicely cut out together with straps that don't sit in the middle for my arm.
The problems then? Well, after some wear the gore refuses to lie flat at the top. That affects lift, support and cleavage, which are all a whole lot better in the beginning. What I can't decide on if it's because the cups are too small or if it's the height of the gore. The later case wouldn't simply be the height, but I'm thinking like this:
This bra is the higher cut version. It does however seem as if it's only made higher, not actually changed in the construction. As it with a lower plunge was meant to give cleavage, in the higher version we suddenly have a gore where there was supposed to be cleavage. And, well, then the gore can't lie flat.
Which do you think sound the most probable? For the future, which size and model (regular, higher) should I go for? Try a 60L again but with normal gore? Try a 60M with the higher gore? What do you think would be the best?
If I compare with my 60JJ - Ewa Michalak » S Wiśniówka (345) the gore is the same height, but that bra offers much more separation. The gore lies flat in that one so I don't think it's the height alone, more that the cups are either too small, or, that the bra isn't really made to work with a higher center gore.

helpfulDarn! So you have the same issue has what I had, except I've got a little bit of a gap at the top center where the gore was raised.
I think you'll probably want to size up one cupsize and have the lower gore. Even with a not perfect fit it looks good on you.

I love the wire width and underarm. That is enough to make me want to try again to get a good fit.
On a side note, we are so close to the same size it's crazy. My ribcage is a tiny bit smaller and of course by breasts weigh less. We are a great example of how much breast weight plays into how tight a ban needs to be. While I prefer a very tight band, I could comfortable wear this on the middle (I think) hooks and still feel supported. You on the other hand with the weight need the much firmer support. Pretty interesting! -
I think you're right.. At the tightest hooks it does actually -feel- okay, but the problem is that the weight in the front pulls the back up... As my breasts are as firm as they are and spread over such a large surface I've never really considered the weight until I actaully tried to hold them and lift them up from their "original" position and/or hold them still while walking... And they are heavy... Much more than I thought.
And yes, it's very interesting! :) And, I also think more and more that your suggestion on the bra not being altered for the higher center gore, the center gore was just added, is probably very close to the true.

I'm having a similar issue, just got the bra today! (Thank you so, so much-I'll be adding measurements and pictures and a review tomorrow) It fits waaaaay better than the UK bras I own, though, and now I have some ideas for when I can afford to place an order on the site! I fill the cups perfectly, except for that tiny space next to the raised gore. My root starts rather high (when I push very lightly on my chest, my cleavage goes up to my collarbone) and I think when I order from them (hopefully soon) I will ask for reduced cup height, because I need it! I also definitely need a 55 band in this one, wearing it easily on the tightest hooks and can still comfortably get a hand or so between my back and the band, possibly in some of their other models as well. I should wear a 26 band, though, so that makes sense-I had just heard Polish bands ran tighter and was a little hopeful. Despite the tiny gapping at the gore, though, it looks fabulous under clothing so far! I shortened the straps, which helped a little since I have tiny shoulders, and if I had a sewing machine, I'd move them in closer together, but it is incredibly comfy compared to my other bras, so I'm super happy despite the minor issues! I think your idea that they just added a higher gore rather than change the shape of the bra to fit a raised gore is probably correct-I think I'll stick to a regular gore when I order. =^____^=

helpfulI think it's the cup construction. I have a same problem with Kris Line. It is actually too large for me (meaning there is extra unused space in the cup, like you seem to have), but it gathers breasts in a way that pushes them to the center. Now, even though cup allows volume in the center on top, it doesn't on the bottom and right near the wider part of the gore - even though your boobs are gathered in center through their whole height, top AND bottom.
So bottom center part of the boobs are pushing the gore from the sternum.
Now, larger cup size would *maybe* give you more volume there but it's also likely to cause all sorts of different problems.
Bending the gore inward doesn't help much either, I mean it helps a bit, but then the top of the gore is nearly tacking, and the rest of it isn't.
What might help, with the gore and band, is taking it in!
Cup volume seems good.Hope I am making sense
Oh, and p.s. you should totally try Braologie if you want a plungeUpdated on June 6, 2013 Flag this

Thank you for your suggestion!
I actually don't have any extra space in the cup anywhere. The tiny bit of lining you can see at the right side is on the side I'm holding the camera with, and this is with the gore seriously floating. No spare space anywhere... :/
About where the cup allows volume, I'm not really sure I follow? The bottom of the cup is actually just perfect and the gore lies flat there perfectly. It's just at the top where it can't manage to lie flat. It is more or less bent out on the tip as my clevage wiggles itself under it...
-
Okay, then maybe size up is an option! ( I thought I saw gapping :)) anyway, I meant that cups don't allow enough volume near the gore - so they might fit at first but boobs will eventually push the gore out. And plunge construction is made to gather the most volume in the center, right? So in order for a gore to remain sitting flat, it shouldn't be too wide AND the cups should allow enough volume just near the gore where boobs are pushed together.
Lack of space near the gore is usually why cleavage wiggles out - well, it's either that or too low gore/to weak wires. -
I think you're right in the last thing... At the moment I'm thinking that I maybe should take the band in first before judging on cup volume? A tighter band would give the gore an atleast slightly better chance at lying flat, plus, I should be able to get a better view on how the cups really fit, as the big band can "trick" the experiecne of the cups a bit...

helpfulI can't say anything about the center gore pushing away, but I do have many Comexim bras of the same size. I found the Iris has a fairly loose band compared to the others.

Thank you, that does at least mean I will be able to won't be outsized in all of the bras. :)

helpfulI wouldn't suggest upping the cup size; I think the cup size works well on you and you just need a shorter gore, almost plunge like, because your breasts are close set. Also, being full-on-top doesn't help with this situation. I'm also round, close set and F-o-T; my standard bras these days are plunges. It's best to avoid higher cut bras in a full on top shape as well because the cup tends not to fit as well.
I've heard Comexim's plunges are lovely (like their Juliette, Nadin, the Basic [which I own], etc.) so I would easily recommend them instead of their taller gored bras. Link: http://www.comexim.pl/24-plunge
Definitely go down in a band size though; Comexim tend to run true in the band.

It is still the best thing I've had so far, clearly. And, I honestly start to think that a bit of the gore issues comes with the band being too big, as it wasn't this bad at first, but as I wore it during the day the band started riding up and the gore floated more and more. So, a band alteration to start with and I think it will be wearable at least. :) I still very much appreciate it, and the arm holes are divine!First bra ever who doesn't try to cut my arms off. :P
