Bra fitting help » Breasts don't fit in under-wire, unsure about sizing.
Freya » Just Flew In Padded Longline Bra (1393) » 30G 30:9
Issue resolved
Decided not to wear bras anymore
Original problem
My breasts seem to sit about one inch above the under-wire, the straps Dig in under my arms and the center gore is constantly poking me. That being said, this is the closest to a well fitting bra I have come. (I often have a sudden urge to rip it off and declare my freedom from tyranny!) A size down in the cup will cause my boobs to spill out, a size up in the band and the bra is really loose. (in the photo I am on the last hook but I can easily wear it on the tightest) I look as if I am stuffed into it, but as you can see I can stretch the band quite a bit. I have considered going down a band size but I don't live anywhere near a store that carries 28's. Please advise me on what direction to go. Thank you!!

helpful1.) Freya padded halfcups are fairly stretchy in the band usually, so I wouldn't be surprised if a 28 band fit better. The longlines are said to not be as stretchy, but I don't think that's true, I think it just feels that way because of the longline style. Maybe you could ask the store you got this from if they'd order in a 28 for you? I think lots of boutiques are willing to do that. (Even Nordstrom is willing to do so, I've heard.)
2.) The cup shape is not optimal for your shape--the padded halfcups tend to work well on shallow, full on top breasts (although they can usually work alright for others). Since you're full on bottom, there probably isn't enough depth in the bottom of the cup for your shape. The only thing I can suggest is to try grabbing each side of the underwire (one cup at a time) and wiggle it upward until the underwires are at the crease underneath your breasts. If you can't, or it doesn't last long enough for your liking, maybe it would be a good idea to try a different style. (3-part cups would probably work great on you!) You can always keep it if it's "good enough for now" or you like the looks enough to ignore the shape differences, though!

helpfulI also think this size is as good as it gets for you in this bra. A tighter band will probably only make the bottoms of the cups even flatter and the wires sit even lower. I suggest you try what thatbradoesnotfither suggests: try wiggling the wires upwards. Bend over and pull them up to get them as close to your breast crease as possible and then, when you're standing upright again, pull the sides of the wires even further up and forward as much as needed to get rid of the worst wrinkling in the bottom. You may have to pull the entire back of the bra up a little bit (in my opinion not down, as splish suggests) as well to get the cups to sit under the proper angle on your body. Doing this might alleviate the strap issue a little too.
Having said that, if you notice no or insufficient difference, this bra may simply be the wrong shape for you ...

helpfulCan you try pulling it down in the back, up in the front? Basically tilting it so that the wires are in the fold and the back band sits in the small of your back? You will probably need to loosen the straps first. If it continues to reshift to the way it's sitting now you need a different size or style.

helpfulI have the same bra and mine wrinkles at the bottom as well, the bottom of the cup is not deep enough, I think you're wearing the right size (you may be able to go down a band size so a 28GG) the shape is wrong and freya's bands are very stretchy. More information http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2013/02/clarifying-breast-shape-full-on-top-vs.html http://www.bralessinbrasil.com/2012/10/bottom-heavy-breasts.html maybe these can help guide you in finding the correct shape bra
