Bra fitting help » How to find a right fitting bra?

Issue resolved
I've figured out that it's definitely small and need to trust my measurements. I also understand my breast shape better and will be looking for bras that were recommended.
Original problem
I feel that this bra is too small. I realize that I have some band and cup issues based off of measurements. It's my least comfortable bra. My measurements for bra size suggest I'm a 34C/D but I feel that my breasts aren't that large and this bra isn't that significantly smaller. I also have 'pointy' breasts and wonder if that has an effect on bra size and fit mismatching. I'd love any opinions on this since I'm struggling to find things that fit.

helpfulHave a look at this article - http://www.venusianglow.com/2012/09/small-breasts-with-broad-base.html. Do you think you might have shallow breasts? If so it could be good to try some of the styles recommended in that article. And I agree that that cup looks a bit too small on you

Thank you! I've read the article and I definitely think I have a type of shallow breasts.

No worries, good luck finding something that suits your shape better!

helpfulIf your breasts are 'pointy' it could definitely effect the measurement/size relationship, but the B is still too small on you. I don't know what bras to suggest, but bras with a more pointed shape would obviously be better. This isn't super helpful, sorry.

helpfulIt looks like your band is riding up in back. Is the stretched band really 33" the same as your underbust? It looks like it's riding up a lot on you, so one of those doesn't seem right. I think you need to size down the band and size up your cup.
That cup is much too small. I think you need a larger base/wire, but possibly not much more overall volume. Look at the link lara7819 gave you. I think you are shallow and broader base.

The stretched band may be 32 fully stretched, it was a struggle to stretch it and think my finger may have slipped on the tape. Thank you!

helpfulThe Panache Porcelain Lace and the Parfait Kelly Molded underwire are both good for wide + shallow, in my personal experience. Both tend to run a little loose in the band, so for you I'd recommend starting at 32D and working from there.
P.S. -- You say your breasts "aren't that big" but you were right about your measurements : they ARE consistent with a 34C or 32D. It is really hard to get used to seeing those larger letters when you've been wearing a B cup, but once you find the correct fit you'll never go back! Give it a try.

Thanks, I'm actually having a hard time identifing my breast shape. I don't know if I'd call them shallow but I also don't fully understand what that means. I'll def look at the styles.
