Bra fitting help » Fit check, band too big? Cups too small? Wrong style for me?
Parfait By Affinitas » Kelly Molded Padded Bra (67016) » 36FF 36:8
Issue resolved
When I shortened the shoulder straps and pulled the whole bra up, the band doesn't seem as big, and the underwire then comes up far enough under the arm. I still think I could go up a cup size. The center gore is still a bit pushed out. If I get a Parfait again, I will go up to a G. Too bad they don't make bigger cups.
Original problem
I have a feeling the band on this is going to ride up. I can comfortably fasten it on the tightest hook and it is new. Also, the top of the center gore does not lay flat. It's like my breasts are pushing it out. I'm not sure if this means I should go up a cup or down a band or both. My feeling is that I might try a 34 G or 34GG in this. I want to figure out my size in Parfait because I want to order a bustier for my sister's wedding in September. Unfortunately the biggest cup size the particular one I was looking at comes in I think is a G.

helpfulYou would probably want a 34H (UK) in this, but they don't make that unfortunately. You could try 36G to see how going up one cup size works out, but the band will still be too loose.

I agree with Jillsas.
My measurements are really close to yours and I'm finding that I'm about a 34H/36G, depending on the brand/style (so far). One 36FF I have fit pretty well in the wire/bottom-of-cup about 3 weeks ago, but I recognized that with any more re-migration, the cups would be too tight and the band too large.
