Bra fitting help » First EM - How many cup sizes up?
Ewa Michalak » Hm Halfek Szmaragd (106) » 65F 30:7
Issue resolved
just gonna have to try both one and two sizes up, i guess!
Original problem
Quadboobing like hell. Bought this off another user even though I knew it'd be too small. I want to order the Pl Onyks and maybe another soft cup bra. From the soft cup measurements on bratabase I was thinking 30FF, but I don't know if that'd carry over to the other styles.

helpfulThat's one sexy bra! Haha, just had to point it out I got my hands on a similar bra but I just couldn't bring myself to keep it because the band was way too "low" (the height of the band, not the length, was too low in my opinion, it had a two-hook closure but the wings were stupidly low so it wasn't comfortable at all).
Umm... You're probably right that you need like a 30FF, maybe even a 30G. I'm sorry I can't help you any further I have no experience with Ewa Michalak.

Haha, not such a smart move but I can see why you did it, I would've never done it though :P I'm kinda practical in that sense, I never buy something unless I need it and I'm sure it'll suit me :P (well, sometimes, if it's TO DIE FOR! However to-die-for it is haha, I won't buy anything knowing that it won't fit me though :P
How does the band fit you? And the straps?
-
well, i thought there might be a sliiight chance it would work because it's a legitimate half cup, and if i'm less vigorous with the swooping and scooping, the quadboob isn't unmanageable. she was also selling it for 15 dollars from within the US, so i thought the risk was acceptable, haha
the straps fit fine - i was worried since they're only half adjustable it'd be too long, but that's not the case. the band is fine, too, though it's more comfortable with an extender. i was trying to take a picture of the back but just could not get it to work! i don't know how people take all these pictures of themselves.

It's actually not that hard to take a back shot :) Stand in front of a mirror and just play around with the angle you're holding the camera, and when you find what angle works best, just take a few photos :P 5 or something, that way you can erase any that gets blurry and the chances are higher that at least one shot isn't blurry :) The best thing though... If you have a bathroom cabinet with two "doors" (sorry, English is not my native language, I don't know the word for it) you can position yourself in front of one of the mirrors and have the other one behind you. That way you can look into the camera screen and make sure you're getting a good shot! :)

hmm okay thanks! any style-specific words of advice?

Nope! I think once you get the right size, the shape of this bra will actually work really well for you :-)

helpfulI'd suggest 2 cups up. That fits you about the same as my too-small CH Lato fit me. I went up 3 cups for my next EM, which is too big, then down 1 cup for my next 2 EM's which are both perfect in the cup.

oh my god, isn't it beautiful? i wanted one so bad and on the website they don't have it in anything close to my size, so when someone said they were selling this one i HAD to get it, even though i was almost 100% certain it wouldn't fit, haha
